The Cup

Officially lost my business today after being a regular customer the last year. The girls that work there are very nice and fun to talk to, but every time the male employee with long black hair works, my sandwich either has black hair in it (this has happened at least 4 times) or is made poorly and is not worth 10 freaking dollars. Then when I ask for a remake he was just not kind and basically said nah, not a pleasant experience during a stressful week of midterms. I did get a refund, but not the correct amount back unfortunately. Not worth the energy or money.

Over my past 7 years in Muncie, the Cup is my go to coffee shop and breakfast place. Their food and coffee is delicious and their staff is always friendly. I have spent hours in here over the years and have never had a less than great experience. What makes this place so unique is their atmosphere.

I used to go here for coffee and studying. However, the service just gets worse and worse. The few times I’ve seen the owner he’s been rude and off-putting. The employees never seem to want customers there, and have a bad attitude when they do interact with customers. The coffee itself is sub-par at best and very overpriced for such mediocre coffee. Their food is underwhelming and bland- bagels are tough and dry. Would not recommend if you value nice people and decent coffee- there are much better places to get coffee in Muncie, like perhaps a dumpster:)

The food is good, however, overpriced and there are a lot of flies in the building. I am not sure why but overall experience would be more enjoyable if the flies were gone, as its giving health code violation.

I thought their food is really low quality for the high price. I wouldn't go here. They serve basically free hotel breakfast.

Good atmosphere, good coffee, and great location! It's a very good spot for students on campus to hang or do homework. They have a poetry night at least once a month and it's entirely free to go to. Haven't had a chance to try the food other than the bagels, but from what I've tried, it was delicious! Definitely recommend this place.

The cup is an actual adult coffee shop for Ball State students and the community of Muncie. It's usually never too crowded, and the service is usually quick. The drinks and food are definitely quality. It's nice to be in an adult atmosphere after being in some freshman classes. If you're tired of all the noise at the student center Starbucks, try the cup.

This place really cool with nicest coffee in Muncie. Ashley and her sister understand what customer need and make really nice coffee as per need. I love this place and will be visiting frequently

My hot chocolate was super watery and I could get higher quality, more flavorful hot chocolate at McDonald's. The vibe is cool and it's a great place to study but their drinks aren't anything special. Also, the owner has a stick up his butt so I would advise not going when he is there; totally rude and obviously a Scrooge.
