This is by far one of my favorite establishments. They have a great coffee menu. Yes, they are a bit pricey, but I personally would much rather pay for quality than corporate crap. Their bagel sandwiches are expensive, but so very filling. I've not run into any parking problems, but everyone is generally very nice and courteous. I've actually had conversations with the owner, and I felt as if he genuinely cared about his customers.

Got the raspberry chai and it was decent, but it was not very hot when I got it. The atmosphere of the place is good - until you get into the room where the seating is; then it's just kind of dark and empty. Overall not very impressed and probably will not go back unless I hear that changes have been made.

Super rude, male cashier at about 11:45 on 11/11. I will say I think the menu design is creative, but when your menu is just a list of basic drinks without any recommended combinations of flavors, it's really important to have someone prepared to help you understand the menu and flavors and what you can put in what drinks. The cashier refused to engage with me even when I indicated I could use some help, however.

On top of that, the coffee was about $5 for their smallest size with no flavor shots, and the brew was really not great compared to coffee places of similar/lower price points.

The restaurant is split into two halves, one with seating and one where you order. The ordering half is very crowded once you get more than a few people into it, and there's only one three-person bench for seating, so it gets really challenging to tell who's in line to order and who's just waiting for their drinks.

Overall, I found it unwelcoming and overpriced and would recommend taking your service elsewhere.

I never made it to the older version of The Cup, but I heard about it through friends. So when it reopened after the new ownership took over we decided to give it a try. The food is good, not a great variety beyond bagels, but that is to be expected at a coffee shop. The coffee itself it pretty good, I generally just get normal cup of black coffee and have yet to be unsatisfied. Now my wife and I try to have breakfast here at least every Saturday, because we really enjoy the original atmosphere. Plus they sell coffee beans at a great price and can grind them free of charge! I am glad to see that this is yet another quality business in the Village.

I really enjoy the coffee at The Cup! It has great flavor, but the past couple of times I’ve gone, the service has not been good. There was one staff who was not welcoming and a little rude. I waited for quite a while wondering if they had seen me walk in because they did not acknowledge me. When they were ready to take my order, I was asking simple questions about flavors and coffee sizes and she was not kind about answering them and made me feel like an inconvenience for asking. There was no one in line behind me, so I wasn’t being inconsiderate. This is not the first time it has happened and I find that very discouraging and disappointing. It’s going to be a while before I go back there again.

Solid coffee and sandwich shop. Servers are friendly and sandwiches are legit

All of the other ratings listed are for previous ownership. The newly opened Cup has a vastly expanded lunch menu, much expanded breakfast hours (pancakes until 6pm!), and quite good coffee- not the best I've ever had, but certainly good enough for a sunny afternoon on the patio.

This is the IDEAL coffee shop in my opinion. Great tasting fresh food, reasonably priced premium coffee drinks, a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, plus plenty of indoor AND outdoor seating. I am working nearby and fully intend on making daily visits to The Cup.

I've been here three times and have always had a great experience. The bagels never disappoint and they have some interesting cream cheese flavors (most notably the maple bacon). Lattes are good, but too much cinnamon for me in the iced Cafe miel and CBD shot not worth the extra money. Will continue to come here!

This place has good coffee and it's a great location. The prices are good. There are very good unique drink options. The crowd is very hipster if that's your thing. If it's not, you should still try them out.
