Fantastic espresso and delicious homemade breakfast bagels in a friendly, casual setting. Great start to my day exploring Muncie!

One of my favorite coffee shops. Been to a bunch. The Cup always has unique, great tasting options.

I've been coming to the Cup since 2003, back when it was the MT Cup and I lived in Muncie. Now I love stopping by whenever I'm in town; it takes me right back to college and some of my favorite memories. Thus, I was really disappointed by my experience this past Friday, Oct. 16, around 10:00 a.m. Don't get me wrong: the food and coffee were fantastic. My problem was with the customer service. I was so upset by the quality of service that I waited several days to post this, so I could be calm about it. The attitude of the barista was beyond bad; it was hostile. I hadn't ordered breakfast there in years, so I had some questions about ordering a breakfast sandwich. Each question was met with impatience and a flatly rude directive that "It's on the board." She said, "It's on the board," three times during our visit: once about the sandwich itself, once about the vegetable options, and once when my friend asked about coffee syrups. I should clarify that only 4 other customers were in the entire restaurant, and no one else was waiting to order. While we still enjoyed ourselves, and the food was hot and fresh, I still regret that I tipped anything at all. I love this place and plan to keep coming back when I'm in town, but I hope the service is friendlier next time.

Great experience!
Good coffee, they can actually create a nice thick foam on top of the latté's, and the ambiance was perfect.
Beautiful day to enjoy good coffee on their outdoor patio area.

Absolute worst experience in a coffee shop. My two friends went in today and one of the had a cup of coffee from another establishment that she tried to throw away before entering but couldn't because it wouldn't fit in the trash can. They chose to still attempt to purchase a drink from the establishment, and after the one with coffee was asked to leave (and did), the friend that was ordering a coffee was met with unrelenting harassment about the outside beverage. The drink wasn't even inside the restaurant anymore but they couldn't just let it go and make the coffee. After constant reiterations about "policy" and whatnot, the parting message for my friend (a paying customer who was merely associated with the person who committed the heinous policy violation) was "thanks for playing". And the prize for the game? The worst, most burnt cup of coffee she has ever had. Overall the drinks and food are overpriced and mediocre at best, and none of us will ever go back.

I went here for the first time recently and it was pretty good! The staff was friendly and I got my drink quickly. The cups are adorable and the London Fog I got was good!
The atmosphere is very cute and artsy--it's a nice little place to hang out if you want to chat with a friend or just want to read a book by yourself while enjoying a delicious drink.

Been here a couple times and it was amazing both times! My first visit I had a frozen dirty hippie(dirty chai) and a bagel with jalapeno cream cheese. The food was good and the chai even better!
My second visit I grabbed dinner. They have lots to offer for people who don't eat meat which I appreciated but their non vegetarian or vegan friendly food sounds great too. Their Veggie Luv panini was FANTASTIC and I think anyone would enjoy it. It was huge too! Worth every penny.
Service both visits was also stellar. Friendly staff that chatted and provided quick service. The atmosphere is also very cute with lots of plates on the wall and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.
Definitely recommend and will definitely be back!

Really fun atmosphere. Very college town with a bit of an urban feel. Lots of art to look at. The coffee is decent. Service is kind of weird if you're not getting it to go though, and the food is pretty hit or miss.

Good coffee. A bit pricey, but that's par for the course as far as coffee shops go. The staff is nice and fun to talk to, and the environment is great with one room being dedicated to an ever-rotating art exhibition. If you like biscuits and gravy, show up on a Saturday for their biscuits and bacon gravy with eggs, you won't be disappointed.
