Payne's Restaurant

It was my first time experiencing this particular restaurant. The service was wonderful and the food was delicious. I had the apple, walnut, brie panini. Boy, was it yummy! I can't wait to go back!!

Excellent service and food! There are even some unique items on the menu. We got sweet potato soup which was the soup of the day and it had a hint of spiciness. We had to get the fish & chips which were delicious paired with Blue Moon and my wife.

British food. Loved the atmosphere. The fish is excellent. I tried the spinach, walnut, cheese, apple butter sandwich. The apple butter was to over powering for me. Next time I will order the fish as my husband did.

Great fish & chips!! Good lamb, awesome sweet potato mash, great Leek soup. OMG Toffee cake. 😋😋😋 menu is in library books. Garfield the cat stands out front.

We stopped on the way back from Florida. Our waiter was awesome, service was prompt, and the food was exceptional. The only "complaint" would be its easy to miss from the road, but who can really complain? Definitely recommend! Will stop on our next visit through!

I frequent Payne’s, never been disappointed. But whoever made my club sandwich on 2/5/22 around 12pm made THE best one I’ve had from here yet. That needs to be the new standard for the club. It was absolutely perfect. Great service, friendly staff. Will always recommend!

Lovely experience as always, been here a few times. Only thing I noticed was the sausage was different ....wanted the authentic British sausage. Otherwise, really nice customer service and food.

Wow! What a great find. Was driving to Indy and noticed a sign for Paynes, so I figured why not. Well that decision turned out to be an excellent one. The staff was super friendly and the food was fantastic. Would absolutely recommend.

As my first time to payne's it was definately a treat for my taste buds.

The line was not too long, the hostess found us a table very quickly, so our server performed very well to assist me in understanding tne menu. Which is a treat within itself. This place definately keeps with the bloody british pub tradition...

We love fish and chips and saw the sign on the highway. I said British and they do it right so we decided to stop. Excellent! Everything was great, even liked the smashed peas. The soup was excellent too! Will b stopping on our return trip. Service was quick and very good server. We were there early in the day. Try it, u won't b disappointed
