The Chocolate Moose

Ordered 4 cups of ice cream. All 4 were great. Only complaint was the waffle pieces in my Velvet Rope were stale. I would have preferred breaking a fresh waffle cone, but I know that can be an unrealistic expectation. Parking was free on the other side of the building next door, easy peasy.

They were friendly and ice cream tasted good.

Delicious ice cream, of course. Many different and unique flavors/toppings! The inside is kept nice and clean, and the staff was helpful, fast, and friendly. There is a nice outdoor window to get your food, but you can go inside as well. The inside connects to a relaxing outdoor area with benches and tables to sit at. I recommend the lemon custard, or Blue Moon. If you have a child, they will get a kick out of the Blue Moon turning their tongue a bright blue!

Stopped by the window for a small grasshopper in a cup. The homemade ice cream was delicious and the price was typical for quality ice cream.

They forgot my friend’s ice cream, but she’s really chill about things like that. Poor person that took our order was working both windows and they definitely needed a better system for that. Ice cream was fire though

Service is absolutely outstanding. I'm just not a fan of their ice cream, I've tried a few different flavors both in Bloomington and their Brown County location. There's always something a little off about the taste. My sisters who went to IU absolutely love it though. Different strokes for different folks.
