Excellent ice cream and friendly staff. BUT I’m not going to continue giving my business to restaurants that add a service fee to customers that pay with a credit card. Why are businesses doing this?! Have credit card companies raised what they charge merchants? I’m guessing they haven’t. It’s just a new trend, similar to pre-tipping at the counter when ordering before you’ve even tasted your food or seen how the service is.

Amazing atmosphere - great pricing and options of flavors. they have regular ice cream and soft serve. They also have vegan options for thos with allergies or intolerances which is a major plus for me. I'll be going back many many times. They also serve delicious coffee.

I grew up in Bloomington, and The Chocolate Moose is THE place to go for ice cream. It’s so nice seeing them in their new building, and they managed to keep the feel and charm of the place as it was before. Amazing ice cream, good prices, and it’s local! You can’t go wrong.
Pro Tip: If you have kids (or are young at heart), ask for eyes in your ice cream!

My only criticism is how expensive it is. Great ice cream though and I love the walk up window option. If you have the money to splurge on an expensive indulgence, I do suggest coming here.

The portion size compared to the price you pay is ridiculous. 3 small cups of ice cream and a drink was over $30. The staff seemed bothered by having to answer questions about their product and were generally unfriendly. If the price didn't keep me away, the staff would. Definitely not a place I would ever go again.

Made a pit stop on the way home for a little ice cream. Pleasant surprise for homemade ice cream. Lots of flavors, made the old school way.

I had some espresso over vanilla that was utterly delicious.
And mid July '22 the strawberry cheesecake won our hearts😋
