Robust Coffee Lounge is a wonderful place. You'll see University of Chicago students there, men playing chess, regular people who just want good food in a wonderful atmosphere. I definitely went twice this weekend and will definitely be a repeat customer

Food is great here, but I would agree that the pricing of their items seem kind of iffy. I typically get the same order every time I go, but I have been noticing that for some reason my price is always changing ... This could be very easily be something that someone miscalculated into the system but def super weird. Also, I'd have to agree that the staff are hella rude. It's honestly kinda funny cause you can say thank you and all they will do is greet you with a blank stare. lmao. my bad?

Great coffee shop and more. Food is fabulous. Friendly service and great atmosphere. My go to for coffee, breakfast, lunch or just to work on my laptop. Love it

I’ve been here countless times & the service is always great! My favorites are the London fog & biscuit -try it with honey! Not pictured but all of the smoothies are good!
side-note: they’re kind to dogs!

Good coffee. Good lattes. Lots of space. But it's loud. They mix the smoothies up front and it's loud. It's hard to get work done there at this coffee shop, because it's loud. But all in all I enjoy coming here.

Such a cute coffee shop in the Woodlawn neighborhood of Chicago. There's always a line because the service, food, and drinks are so good. Definitely give it a try if you're in the area.
Faves: sausage biscuit, smoothies, and the veggie bagel.

Great little hidden gem... Good ambiance. Food was delicious, I ordered the super breakfast bowl and banana French toast all for around 14 bucks. You have to order at the counter and then they bring your food out, you also kinda bus your own table but none the less a great place.

I wanted to try a particular sandwich after seeing it on an episode of Chicago’s Best. The grilled cheese with Brisket was decent and there was plenty of brisket with every bite. The chips were a great add on and packed plenty of flavor. My bill was about $23 for two lunch box meals and a pastry. If you’re just interested in coffee, a smoothie or refreshing drink, there’s plenty of options and opportunity to try something new each visit. Call ahead to place an order if you know what you want and don’t have a lot of time to waste.

Good coffee and options with original twists. It was clear a local hangout, and they know their customers... some by name. Only heads up is to be mindful of kitchen hours.
