I discovered this place after doing a Google search for black owned cafes that were open early and served something sweet. When I walked in the coffee aroma smelled enticing! And I’m not a coffee drinker. What I did order was a cinnamon roll, blueberry muffin, and chocolate chip cookie. I ate the cinnamon roll in the car. Thus, I don’t have a picture of it, but it had all pillowy and cinnamon goodness all inside of it. The blueberry muffin was good too! (Someone pointed out that hum when I eat something that tastes really good. I didn’t know I did it.) That’s what happened when I ate the muffin. The chocolate chip cookie had the perfect amount of chocolate chips! The edge was crispy with a soft chewy center!!! And it was big! I did join the rewards program. The cashier did mention they sell tea too. This visit was from September. I recently went through my pictures and realized I forgot to write a review and post the pics.

The honey latte is phenomenal! They just had one barista the first time I came so the line was a little long, but overall great coffee in a fun atmosphere. PS - Weekend days they had two and it was quick!
(Wish they had a gf breakfast food option).

Really dope place. The service was great and my coffee was brewed fresh. The outdoor patio space was well lit and clean. It wasn’t too noisy and I was able to find great seating to meet with my team. I also love how the local artwork accent the space. It’s a warm and lovely cafe.

Sip and Savor is a fantastic neighborhood cafe. My favorite are the lattes and cinnamon rolls. There is indoor and outdoor dining. So far, it has not been too crowded. The baristas are very knowledgeable and take instruction willingly. Neighborhood gem.

I’ve been a patron here since I moved to Chicago 7 years ago. I love having a black-owned, neighborhood coffee shop at the end of my block that I can walk to. The owner, Trez, is so personable and easy to talk to. The vibe is peaceful and the drinks are tasty. I have to stop myself from eating too many slices of the red velvet and marble cakes. I appreciate that they use eye-catching art by local artists to decorate. You can tell by the constant influx of customers and regulars that people love coming here, including my husband and I. 5 out of 5!

Staff eagerly acknowledge you when you enter and provide good feedback on the food items. This is my second time at the 43 at location and it’s nice. Laid back. I’m happy with the freebie I got (via text message) I tried the Bluberey Hibiscus tea with honey and lemon.

This morning I ordered a dirty chai latte over ice and they were able to accommodate. I love coming here I love supporting this business and I love other coffee. It’s really peaceful here a great place to think and get creative.

I've been coming to the 43rd Street location for quite a few years (there are a few locations on the South side and the suburbs), whenever I want to grab a refreshing tea or a quick, light bite to eat. The coffees and teas are made just right (my favorite is the Honey Ginsing). They serve a variety of alternative 'creams' for every taste palette and those who are health conscious.
The cafe's ambience is pleasing, the artwork is nice and the music is perfect. Whether you're meeting with friends, business associates, or just spending some quiet time alone, you'll have a good experience.

I've been an advocate for Sip and Savor for years. It's consistent. Everything I've ordered has been made and delivered with love everytime. They employee a staff of good spirited people and their clientele, though from different walks of life, have been nothing but pleasant at minimum. It's what I'd want out of a coffee shop.
