Robust Coffee Lounge

Cool neighborhood coffee shop that stays busy. The food is good and the service is great. This is a good remote working spot, but they don’t have many outlets to charge your computer.

My co-worker and I love Robust🥰! We especially love the Banana Bread French Toast😋.

I like the atmosphere of Robust. The seating options are comfortable, the back area is large and can accommodate more people than the front area. Customer service is great, the food is good as well. Last time I visited about a week ago I ordered a biscuit and it was not as great as they usually are. Maybe because it was later in the day, I'm not sure. Overall I have pleasant experiences here and out of the many times I've been here this was the only time I was let down by the biscuit.

I received a very friendly and welcoming greeting that made me feel valued as a customer. The sour cream and chive bagel was delicious and definitely worth the wait. The only thing preventing this from being a 5-star review is arrival time of my food compared to ultra quick delivery of my drink. Going forward I will be sure to ask if it's possible to better coordinate the two; either way I will continue to highly recommend this coffee shop to everyone that I can.

I ordered a Belgium waffle and returned it because it was made incorrectly and the manager was inappropriately disrespectful with me.

He completely disregarded my ask, spoke over me in a disrespectful tone. He mocked me in the interaction and made me feel completely unwelcomed. I have NEVER been that disrespected in any establishment and actually have enjoyed EVERY previous time here.

The staff was apologetic but ***the manager*** was horrendous. I absolutely cannot patronize this business, again.

The coffee comes in many flavors. Interesting Robust Coffee at 63rd and Woodlawn was there when I moved into the Hyde Park community. The Starbucks on Stony, where I purchased my lattes, has closed, and boarded. Really people Robust is not a Starbucks. The coffee I purchased today was not robust. Beats that I brew at home!

I ordered a medium coffee and a breakfast bowl. The counter staff was quick and kind. Sitting down with my coffee I enjoyed the view and music. When the wait staff brought my food it looked really good and was quite satisfying. The only thing keeping it from getting five stars was there fact that one of our parties food didn't arrive until after two of us had finished.

Relaxed, airy space. Great service. Good breakfast, smoothies and coffee. Half price items available from 6-8am Monday-Friday. Definitely a place I could go back to multiple times.
For my breakfast sandwich, I chose bacon, sausage, egg, cheese and avocado on an everything-bagel which turned out to be a great combo. Would have liked some hot sauce though.

Super delicious! The croissant sausage cheese sandwiches were amazing!!! Probabaly the best I've ever had! Customer service was awesome! Overall, a great little coffee shop!
