Discovered this gem while scootin around town. I love that their open past regular morning hours, so I was able to enjoy a cup of coffee after 3pm! I had a regular pour over coffee black and every time they've made one for me, the coffee has been perfection. The baristas have also been great to talk to!

Street parking and a well marked sign outside. Various choices for a good cup by a barista serious about coffee. We tried three all were good.

I was in Boise for a quick visit and dropped by this Slow by Slow. I was immediately impressed by the vibe and the fact that they do pour overs. My pour over was fantastic and one of the best I've had. Great place.

Easily said the best shot of esspresso pulled in boise. Weighing and timing the shots and upholding a quality standard of a prestigious level to a fault possibly. That said the staff the best in all coffee shops I've seen in boise, I've never felt unwelcome or as though it was unpleasant to see me. At least two of the staff through the pandemic were clear masks so people could still see a smiling face to uplift their day. Quality of this level is hard to come by from coffee to workers.

If this isn’t the best espresso in Boise Id runnn to see what could possibly be more amazing. Boise has a legendary cafe in this one, and I was surprised, tbh. It’s hipster sure, that can be good sign or just bc, but it ain’t just show here. Down to the detail they obsessed and know their shtuff. I didn’t read comments here but noticed a quick line about sour and just want to comment on something about this place, and others that offer bean choices- if u don’t really really know espresso ask them which one to get for the type of preparation your getting. Some espresso is better with a latte - having power that’s better balanced out with diary, versus one that’s smooth enough to be (typically, preferences of course vary) consumed straight up as a shot.
Slow by Slow know they know and can help help, so ask ;)
If I’m back in Boise I’m def excited for my mornings, it’s really good and I put that in the context of espresso anywhere in the world- it’s legit in my experience.

Delish. Friendly. Vibes on point. Thank you for fueling our drive to the coast!! Really glad to have found this place that opens early on weekends, has super friendly baristas, and beautiful coffee.

Fantastic coffee bar featuring some incredible roasters from up and down the west coast and throughout the rocky/inter mountain region.
Kelsey was friendly, very knowledgeable about coffee offerings, (and the coffee scene in Boise) and made a great cortado.
Definitely stop by for a bag of retail beans and a great coffee.

I live in Chicago, we have a few “boutique” coffee shops like this one, but none with such a great attention (they’ll take the coffee to where your at... they actually remember your order), and the prices are super accessible. I’ll Coma again and again before I return! Really good single origins selection!

This place was very cool and very unique. I'd never been to a pour over only coffee shop before. Order whatever type of gourmet coffee you want, then it takes a few minutes to brew because they slow brew each order as a pour over. Very yummy. Came here on our anniversary on our way to a movie next door!

Really awesome artisan coffee shop in downtown Boise! Great coffee and cool atmosphere which is great for working or chatting. Lots of outlets for your laptop. Very friendly and helpful staff. Parking is hard to find since it's in downtown but it's definitely worth checking out if you are into craft coffee shops!
