I was surprised that they didn't offer half and half - is that a hip millennial coffee trend going on that I'm clueless about? But the thyme almond milk latte I got was super tasty, so it works! I just wasnt able to try my go-to, which is a breve latte.

I have found the equivalent of Brewster's Cafe from Animal Crossing. This place is off the charts great coffee. Now they just need a few gyroids...

Great vibe here and the space is beautiful. It's in a nice section of downtown and has awesome windows.
The actual coffee is hit or miss. Twice I've had a cortado that was pretty good. Once I got a latte that was too cold so the milk barely had any foam and wasn't sweet or rich like it should have been. I got a pourover and my barista just kind of dumped water onto my grounds instead of taking time like he should have. If you charge $4.00 for a pourover, and call yourself "slow" then take pride in doing what you say.

Certainly my favorite coffee shop in town. Boise has a wonderful selection of nice coffee shops where you can hang out and enjoy great drinks, but Slow by Slow does the best job of actually introducing you to different coffees, which you can then purchase at very reasonable prices with fresh roast dates.
Oh and, yes, the espresso drinks are good too.

I love everything about Slow by Slow. Their motto, their expertise, the overall vibe. It's a great workspace for the digital nomads out there!

If you want to learn about coffee and watch some masters at work, come here. These guys know what theyâre doing. Probably the most technically superior espresso in Boise. Theyâve got it figured out. Proud coffee snobs rejoice.

A small local coffee shop. I thought how they made their coffee was fun to watch. However when I got my drink it was Luke warm. Not enjoyable on a cold winter morning.
