Skinny Mike's Ice Cream & Shave Ice

Can't go wrong with shaved ice like this.

Only reason I stuck around long enough to order is my daughter really wanted shaved ice. We walk in the door and the gentleman behind the counter rudely yells at us that it’s only “10 people at a time”. Which is fine, but I don’t appreciate being yelled at not to mention I don’t typically walk into establishments and count the people to see if I should be inside. To add insult to injury, an old white could walks in after we wait several minutes to wait for 3 people to exit putting to count over 10 (now 12). Not a peep out of the employee. Perhaps my family and I are too tan. I could not recommend this place less.

It’s so difficult to resist to go in. The fresh waffle cones smell amazing!! Both the cone and the ice cream were delish. Had the salted caramel and it was sooo good. Didn’t try the shave ice but that thing was HUGE!! they call it shave iceberg for a reason! Would def go back to try their shave ice

Nice like ice cream and shaved ice shop. Excellent location if you are staying at the Marriott or Royal Sonesta. Try the Ube ice cream it's delicious.

I've stopped here twice and been impressed both times. The shave ice is huge, and while the flavoring is run of the mill, the ice texture is fantastic. Lots of interesting ice cream flavors too, I wish this was near home so I could try them all!

Tasty!! The kona brownie ice cream was great--nice strong coffee flavor!! While there were a fair number of flavor choices, not many really popped out at us. But the quality was good and we would certainly go back. Cute cafe feel, good amount of indoor and outdoor seating. Solid dessert choice!

Amazing selection of ice cream and sherbet flavors! Every one we tried was so good. Unfortunately there was only one poor counter girl with about a 30 person line. I advise going earlier in the day

Shaved ice was like snow and packed with flavor! A great way to compensate for a disappointing dinner elsewhere.

The shave ice here is HUGE, like could be shared between 4 people easily. But it's delicious and you can get it with any of their ice creams. I highly suggest the macadamia nut ice cream with your shave ice flavor(s) of choice. I got P.O.G & passion fruit. Definitely recommend.

Beware: Tourist Trap! Sad excuse for a shave ice. The artificial flavor tasted just like sugar, no discernible pain fruit at all. Snow cap felt diluted, and because these are needlessly tall, the snowcap doesn't reach most of your shave ice. Also difficult to eat.

If you want some high quality shave ice with natural, vibrant flavors, go to Wailua Shave Ice, that place is the real deal. Really, anywhere other than this place is better.
