Skinny Mike's Ice Cream & Shave Ice

Workers were fun and efficient both when line was long and when there was no line. Cause yes we went 2 times! We got shaved ice, pog with coconut ice cream. And another tropical blend with coconut ice cream. It’s so good, perfect after or during a hot day!

The workers were great and very pleasant! Great pit stop after dinner and plenty of parking for all!

Great place for shaved ice if you don’t have other options! Their flavors and the options for ice cream on the bottom and sweetened condensed milk on the top are very yummy! The size of the shaved ice is huge and unfortunately the reason I did not put 5 stars. They weren’t able to get the flavor into the middle so there’s a whole middle of no flavor! That’s one thing I would recommend to the shop!

Ice cream looked great. However I got shaved ice and asked for pineapple. I received banana and asked for another. They gave me another banana and I told them it was the same thing. I don’t think they believed me. I just threw it away and walked out and just ate the 2 other flavors. However, there wasn’t much flavor. Most disappointing dessert experience ever :(

Eating my Coffee Expresso with Coconut Haupia and am totally enjoying the flavors. I certainly reccomend Skinny Mike's at Harbor Mall to all my local friends., ohana, and visitors!

Employees seemed a bit bothered by us and more interested in each other. The ice cream and sorbet were good but the shaved ice was not. I asked for Pina-Colada but what I got tasted like banana.

It was kinda a bummer bc one of the girls got a text in the middle of preparing my treat and stopped making it so she could share the text with her co-worker in a whisper while we waited. When I finally got my treat, I just wanted to get out of there. I didn’t feel comfortable to share that my snow cap was forgotten and that banana was used instead of pineapple.

The spot is neat to sit outside and look at the ocean while you enjoy your sweet treat. There are other shops in there too and a couple restaurants with good happy hours.

In short, the sundae in a waffle bowl equals yummy. Sorbets delicious. Skip the Shaved Ice and don’t expect an Aloha Welcome. Instead of hello, we got a “pull up your mask” even though there was a table of people sitting, some with treats and all with no masks.

The ice cream was frosty, and the flavors tasted artificial. the quality of the ingredients must have been poor, that’s why the ice cream was not smooth. This is a tourist trap, it’s busy due to location and nothing else. Service was super slow and lacking. As someone who lives here, I would recommend driving a few minutes down south to aina juice or uncle shave ice by safeway for something 10x better…!

I had the Vegan chocolate and it was good. If you're vegan, I'd recommend the POG (passion fruit, orange, guava) sorbet.

The brownies were delicious and the ice cream was fabulous!
