Skinny Mike's Ice Cream & Shave Ice

Love this place! I remembered it from our trip to Kauai 3 years ago so I made it a point to go back when we visited the island again this year.
The ice cream is fantastic and the woman who served it to us was exceptionally nice.
There is a also a painting/mural on the wall that is beautiful to look at while you enjoy your ice cream, shaved ice or other treats.

Very simple. I asked for a cone with mac nut ice cream. The guy cuts me off half way by saying "pause" and then tells me "you can continue" after I showed him the cone I wanted. I just walked out. There are better places to get ice cream on the island. Nicer people too.

delicious ice cream and shave ice!! the scoops are generous and super smooth and creamy. the shave ice is huge!! probably won’t be able to finish alone!! but love this place a lot!!

Best shave ice on the island. We have tried several places and they did not compare. Melts in your mouth like cotton candy. They only have one size and it is huge for a great price. Pair it with the ice cream and this place can’t be beat.

We stopped there and tried their vegan chocolate ice cream. It was delicious and flavorful!

Really good ice cream. Huge portion size for the shaved ice, honestly some of the best shaved ice ever, it was so soft. The employees were very nice and gave us recommendations on what to do in the area.

Staff is super friendly and they can make the biggest shaved ice that you will ever see! Check out the video that I uploaded! My first experience of shaved ice @ Skinny Mike's makes it harder for others to beat and I tried 5 others which were very popular! Like my video because you saw how good the white chocolate swirling on my shaved ice!

Ube ice cream on a waffle cone…yum!! Definitely worth going back to in Lihue!
