The breakfast burrito is a must-try, and the sandwiches are made with fresh toppings. The Killer Burrito and the Porkarito are also excellent options. The deli also offers gluten-free food, and all sandwiches can be served on their own baked bread each day.

While some customers have noted that the portions have decreased and the prices have increased since the change in ownership, the quality of the food remains consistently delicious. The Peak Deli is a great lunch spot in Pagosa Springs, and it's definitely worth a visit.

Excellent breakfast option! We had the breakfast burritos, which were delicious. The staff was super nice as well!

Amazing sandwich! We grabbed lunch here before starting a backpacking trip nearby. Loved it so much we hoped to eat here again 3 days later, on our way down. It was a Sunday and they were closed. The food was amazing. And I will be going back next time I'm up in Pagosa.

Ok so the first time we came to Pogosa we missed out on this gem. This time we made it a point to grab breakfast and lunch here.

Breakfast I opted for the breakfast burrito with sausage egg and cheese, oh and fresh grated hash browns. It was awesome and unlike most places the value to dollar ratio was spot on. Burrito is a good large size with the above and some pico and salsa inside. Definitely great for a full day of fun and delicious. My only wish would be if it was toasted on the outside.

Lunch I had to get the southwest cheese steak. Holy cow this was a great sandwich. Loaded with flavor, the beef was perfectly and the sliced cheese was crisped over it. The gooey cheese had a nice flavor of chili and was not over abundant so the bread was not soggy and wet. Oh and the bread was airy and light with a mild crunch. Despite it being a cheese steak sandwich it eats like a light deli roll. This is definitely a top 5 sandwich for me

Overall, you will get great values, wonderful environment, and super friendly staff that have that great mountain charm. It was a true pleasure to eat here.

My husband, mother-in-law, child and I were traveling from Texas. Our stop today was the Hot Springs and took a lunch stop at the peak deli. The best hot sandwiches and soup! My husband and I had the southwest sandwich on gluten-free bread and their chicken soup. We did not realize they were 10 minutes to closing but we ate fast and really enjoyed the food! Will definitely be back

This is a small local deli. The deli is easy to find and walk to if you are in downtown. These guys are awesome! Kendra up front has great customer service. The food was awesome! After I had a ZubeFizz I really wanted to buy a box. Andy, the owner was there and he was willing to make me a deal. He was very willing to hang out and chat for a bit. He seems like very down to Earth guy and he has developed some great sandwiches. My friends and I had a great time here and we will be back next time we're in Pagosa.

Best sandwich I’ve had in a long time! Must stop here if you’re in town!

Updated review - this was our go to sandwich shop in town. We loved the Cubano and Jackson Peak. After the change in ownership, my husband and I gave it a few chances but the same thing we always ordered, was different or missing items, not to mention the dismal portions. After having tried them 3 times since, we decided just to make our own sandwiches at home.
I get prices increasing, however don't decrease the size of portions. I'd gladly pay more for the same or better, but not worse.

My sandwich was absolutely delicious. The only reason for a 4 star is because I felt that I got very little value of food for what I paid. Again the sandwich was great, but I do wish there had been more meat & bread to accompany my sandwich.

Fantastic! My 88 year old mother and I had lunch. Both of us had Philly sandwiches. The sandwich was very tasty; in fact, my mother said it was the best tasting sandwich she's ever eaten. Besides having great food, the staff and owner were very pleasant and friendly.
