Good coffee selections, as well as other drink options. The food here is really good too. This place is a favorite for our family every time we're in town.

I love the atmosphere of the cafe! It's warm, welcoming, and has great decorations! Love the merchandise as well (great variety of mugs!!!). The espresso was a little under developed, light bodied, bright and a bit bitter (may have been over extracted?); the chai is amazing!!! Love that coconut milk is available. I'll definitely be back, but won't be getting espresso straight up.

Because of virus scare they had take out only so hope people still go over and give them business. Lady that helped us was awesome. We ordered a Carmel latte and white chocolate mocha as well as some sweets and service and food were awesome. Thanks for staying open.

Higher grounds is probably the best cafe in pagosa springs. Nicely decorated, ample seating and decent menu. We had avocado toast and breakfast bagel with latte. All was good.
The only suggestion i have for this place is for the hosts to smile more. It will light up the whole environment.

Went in not entirely sure what to get so I got a sampling of a few items. The banana bread and chai are solid but nothing special. They were pleasant and efficient enough but if I leave you with nothing else- GET THE QUICHE!! It’s delicious and worth every penny

Love this place, I have been coming here since they opened over 15 years ago!! My fave is the Caramel Breve with a gluten free blueberry muffin!

Great coffee and food! The sausage burrito was the bomb!

Meh. The physical place is very nice, but it was clear that the staff wasn't real interested in our business. We both ordered Cappuccinos and we were served in paper cups. And it was the worst Cappuccino we had ever had. Watery and frothy with zero taste. We had been here once before and remembered we had the same experience. We probably should have mentioned it, but no one looked real interested in our comments. So, we just left our full coffee cups on the table.
