From Phoenix, Arizona we ❤️ visiting Pagosa Springs! Higher Grounds Coffee is quaint serving up popular coffee choices. All of the food is made in house and is delicious, even my husband likes eating here. Today we had a bagel sandwich, quiche, strawberry smoothie, drip coffee, then a gluten free zucchini muffin and cinnamon roll for the road 😋. We highly recommend stopping by!
Oh, if you like unique gifts they have those too 😃

Cute shop. The Barista was nice, and it wasn't super busy when we went. They have lunch, sweet treats, coffee beans and souvenirs. Also they have smoothies or hot chocolate for the littles. Was about the same price as Starbucks but, with a better atmosphere and better coffee.

Chill coffee shop with great food options for those seeking a light meal. The coffee, tea, cinnamon bun, and egg sandwiches were all delicious. Would definitely come back if I were local!

Food menu is great and the coffee is absolute perfection. Staff is friendly even early on a Saturday :). Cute items in the store for purchase!

Very nice spot. Not too pricey. I had an autumn fog which was SO delightful! I came back the next day for a second. Very nice staff and space.

We got lattes here and tried a few food items like the burrito, avacado toast and some different bakery items. We loved everything we tried here plus they had so many cute little things for sale around. The workers were always very nice and had everything done quickly. We will definitely be visiting back here our next time in town.

Wow, that was good!! Ordered a simple bacon egg and cheese on a biscuit - good stuff for sure. The biscuit was main from scratch and was amazing.

It was moderately busy, but the staff had no issues performing as a team and churning out orders with quality - kudos!

Even more, there was a cozy atmosphere to kill a few minutes to get off the feet and take a rest for a moment.

I wish we had one of these in Dallas!! It’s such a cute place with a perfect balance of comfy couches & chairs as well as small tables, perfect for studying or work. There’s also a long table, great for collaboration!

I love that they also have a full food menu with many options for breakfast and lunch - even adult beverages.

My mom and I stopped in for breakfast and both had breakfast burritos. One is plenty for most. We had the sausage/egg/cheese. They also include black beans, tomatoes and green chilis so it has just a hint of heat (that might just be me because I’m a weenie)

We both got lattes, mine with lavender syrup (so interesting!). There’s an extensive list of flavors and milk options. I also love that they have regular coffee cups if you plan to hang out and don’t need a to-go cup.

Another perk - they have a fun assortment of retail items! Various reusable to-go cups as well coffee-table type books, decorative plates, planters w/ succulents, and more.

To top it off, the staff is friendly and helpful in making selections, as they also have exclusive recipes that may require explanations. 😊

Stopped here for coffee. Got a latte and it was pretty good! Lots of options for food and bakery items as well but didn’t get any this time. Would go back in the future.

I got the hot chocolate, sausage egg and cheese croissant, and a blueberry muffin. All 3 items tasted great. It cost about the same as Starbucks and was better.
