Great coffee and sandwiches!

Baked goods are a bit more hit and miss (pies are amazing, but muffins are dry, IMO).

Good COVID safety, and a clear concern for safely supporting their community.

Excellent coffee, highly recommended. Baked goods are nice too and a great place to sit. The only reason I have not given 5 stars is because the quality of the espresso drinks can vary a little bit depending on barista, and the most common problem appears to be the milk becoming over-heated, which does kill the flavor a little bit.

Mocha review:
They offer 8 ounce cups! The barista had a big back up when we visited in late September 2021, but once he got straightened out I had a nice 8 ounce dry hot mocha.
The cashier did not ask, but the barista asked if I wanted a little or a lot of chocolate syrup, and a little chocolate syrup produced a delightful dry mocha. So check in with the barista as your drink gets close to being made.
They also sell a wide range of the tasty Chuao chocolate bars, which are a lot of fun if you like interesting flavors or textures in your fancy chocolate.

My wife likes Starbucks. When we travel I take her to the local coffee shops. Usually she still likes Starbucks better 🙄, but she really liked her coffee here. I got a tea that sounded like they added pot (higher something), but the name was misleading (too bad) . The tea wasn't great. But I'm not a huge tea drinker anyway so I don't fault them on that. It was a great experience and I recommend Higher Grounds Coffee.

Higher Grounds has a fantastic group of Baristas right now! Theresa, Cody, Tonya, and Mia to name a few. All excellent with their customer service and drinks!

Nice little coffee shop that has a great breakfast burrito. They have bulk coffee as well if you are staying in the resort and don't want to go out every morning for a cup.

Best homemade biscuits and raspberry cream cheese. Not to mention great coffee.

We love this place! Best coffee in Pagosa and their food is always fresh.

The coffee was okay, but I ordered a blueberry muffin and it was way undercooked :( paid almost $20 and it was a little disappointing

Super cute, super hip little coffee shop. Great food, good drinks. The staff has always been friendly. I like the unique gift selection. They have some really cute items. And the carrot cake is to die for!!
