Rockin' Cuban sandwich. Huge, tasty, good mix of flavors and textures. Made fresh and worth the wait.
Coffee was great too (Cuban style is pretty sweet, but they ask to make sure you really want that!)

Buchi Cafe Cubano is an incredible restaurant with phenomenal service and delicious Cuban food, coffee, and drinks. The workers take great pride in the service that they provide. The Cuban Expresso was some of the best that I have EVER tasted. The key lime pie was amazing and the flan is infused with the Cuban Expresso flavor. I would highly recommend this place to my friends and family. If I'm in the area again, I will definitely be back.

Who would've guessed that you can find a Cuban sandwich as good as the ones in south Florida at 10,000'. Between the sandwich, plantains, and a mojito properly overflowing with mint, I have a hard time finding a better spot for aprés ski. I only wish their Denver location didn't fall to the pandemic so I could experience the joy of their food on a regular basis.

Stopped by for lunch on a Saturday. Front of the restaurant is a little rough but the inside is comfortable. Service very quick and friendly. I started with the Cafe con Leche which was very nice. My wife and I both had their cubano mix sandwich which was a classic cubano with pork, ham, pickles and mustard pressed in a panini. The sandwich was excellent—the ham and pork providing a nice mix. If I was making it I might go with a bit more tangy pickle and a little bit more mustard or a bit spicier mustard but that is probably my personal preference. Bread was very nice and cooked to a good crisp. Overall an excellent lunch choice and who expects a good cubano in Leadville.

Something about this place told me it was gonna be legit when we stopped for lunch. The iced Cafe con Leche was the real deal. I love CCL! My Avocado salad was deliciously simple. The empanada was so flavorful and I could eat the sauce on everything! My husband's Cuban Mix was everything you want a Cubano to be. The black beans & rice were silky and delicious.
What a great surprise.

If you’re Cuban and you happen to be in Leadville, I’d recommend eating here. Even if your not Cuban I’d recommend it. Good chow, straight forward but tasty in a good space. Staff was attentive and I’d eat here again.

I’m so glad I found this place to have breakfast on our road trip. Leadville is adorable. The guy who took our order was nice. They gave us free little bottles of water. We ate at a table outside, it was so nice.

I was apprehensive to come here after reading the reviews, but decided to give it a try. It says online you can add lettuce or tomato to any sandwich. I wanted to add both, but asked if the lettuce could be on the side. I was told no. Then I asked if the lettuce could be put on after it’s pressed so it wouldn’t get hot and soggy, and I was also told no. She actually said to me that the lettuce was definitely “going to be warm and soggy.” So I said no thanks to the lettuce. The sandwich by itself was $15 (no side or chips or anything) and upon getting my receipt I see I was charged $2 for adding the tomato. If you’re going to upcharge for something, let the customer know beforehand. I definitely would not have paid an extra $2 for a few slices of tomato (especially since I asked to remove an ingredient—onion—from the original sandwich). The sandwich tasted good, but unfortunately the poor customer service and price gauging made my review go from 5-stars to 2-stars.

Great food but overpriced. The avocado salad is $9 for 1/2 of a sliced avocado with some dressing. Empanada also small and overpriced. And I wish they wouldn’t use styrofoam.
