I really like this place. The staff is so friendly and they make you feel so welcome. It's an up beat vibe and the food is so good. I had a strawberry scone, a pecan whiskey scone, a lemon muffin, and a jalapeno, bacon, cheddar quiche. All the food is fresh and delicious. There is a nice lounge area in the back and they also have lots of local brews. You should try it.

This place has amazing coffee, the pastries and quiches and heaping gourmet toasts are all so tasty. They also have the cheapest beers in Durango, especially on Main Street, with a great local selection. You can also get any of their drinks spiked which is awesome. A lovely atmosphere, local, the staff is so friendly and helpful. Love that they have vegan and gluten free options, all the milk alternatives.

Cannot go wrong here. Food was excellent and staff was amazing. Even though they left the flavoring off my coffee and I wasn't going to say anything, they caught their mistake, made me a whole new coffee and were super nice about it. 100% would come here again.

I love that I can get rose or lavendar as flavors with coffee here

Stopped by this morning looking for breakfast and some warm coffee. The medium roast was perfect, and priced well.
At the owners recommendation I ordered two quiches and two of their golden egg toasts (she even tolerated my picky special orders!). The portions were incredibly generous and all the food was obviously made fresh and delicious.
I could easily see myself becoming a regular.

Great coffee, fast service, and the quiches are to die for! I just wish there were more "staple" flavors in the quiches and pastries. A strawberry jalapeno scone or a mushroom olive quiche is undeniably creative, but it would be really nice to have a couple of tried and true flavors on the menu. Also wish the pastry selections were labeled so I don't have to ask the guy behind the counter every time (and he gets annoyed and reads them off a notebook as fast as he possibly can every time).

Hermosa Cafe in downtown Durango is absolutely delicious! Their home-made quiche is to die for, and their coffee equally amazing. The owner, Lucia, is a sweetheart and she ensures that each customer's experience keeps them coming back again and again. I highly recommend visiting Hermosa Cafe while you're exploring Durango.

Accidentally but quickly became our watering hole in town. Good coffee, nice teas, solid selection of local beer, some tasty pastries made in-house, and friendly staff. New food menu too, including some fish tacos which we also enjoyed. They have a pretty outdoor patio for those uncomfortable dining inside (or just like to people watch), and dogs are welcome. Strong recommendation.

This sweet Cafe is the perfect place to stop for delicious coffee & yummy breakfast treats! We had a chai tea latte, cappuccino & one of the best cinnamon rolls I've ever had . The atmosphere was perfect and staff were super friendly. I definitely recommend this cute spot!

Great espresso and really nice vibe. Note, the kitchen closes at 4pm, but the cafe stays open later. Also, open til 2am some nights, because it's also a bar :)
