Hermosa Cafe

We had such an amazing experience here, beautiful atmosphere with amazing food and drink. If you're in durango you have to stop here for a bite and a drink. 10 out of 10 all day!

Hermosa used to be the spot for friendly service and a really great oatmilk latte but it’s gone WAY DOWN in service which is such a bummer :( when my family and I went last weekend the cashier was a blond zoomer who could barely string a sentence together and made us feel like we were somehow ruining his entire morning by just placing an order. My latte was absolutely horrendous- completely watered down. They make none of their syrups in house as far as I can tell, the honey lavender flavor tastes like straight perfume. With options like Durango coffee company next door and Still Life on Florida Rd, and now La Bonnie Patisserie I would say don’t even bother stopping there for a pastry. So sad because they use to have super nice and competent workers and the interior is so cute. There are better options though and I’d much rather take my business and tips to someone who’s not gonna ruin my morning.

Holy moly the chai tea latte is AMAZING! Great little spot with sandwiches, toast, scones, muffins .. will definitely try a cinnamon roll next time!

Good coffee drinks and pastries. The big surprise was the new toast menu. Had one on buttery toast with mustard, ham gruyere and a soft egg. It was delicious, my only complaint is my kids ate almost all of it because they loved it too

As a local of Durango Hermosa Coffee is my go to coffee shop. I love the cozy and spacious décor', which allows me to do work in a comfortable setting. There is always an array of delectable pastries as well as pies. Jimmy the cook makes delicious sandwiches (even the vegetarian one)! Highly recommended.

Cozy little book nook with a built in coffee shop. a relaxing atmosphere you'd go full sun baked cat mode in. Lovely servers, lovely enviroment, an overall great experience. Thank you.

What a delight! Another reason to visit Durango. The food is yum! Get in there and get some of the baked goods!

I wanted to like this place but we paid $26 for two premade sandwiches heated up when the sign says they are ‘made to order’, and a tiramisu. The tiramisu was okay but the sandwich’s left so much to be desired. I have a feeling the coffee is good but we did not have any when we came. It seemed like there was only one guy working in the whole store, and everything premade. I might go back to try the coffee but probably not the food.

A gem of a coffee shop right on main street. Great coffee with some latin/sw inspired house drinks. Fantastic baked goods. Lots of fun art and comfy seating.
