As I've mentioned in other reviews of coffee places around the country, when we roll into town we try the coffee.
Durango Colorado is the city for it!
Magpies Newsstand is amazing for the gifts and snacks whole walking and shopping around downtown Durango, but the speciality drinks!!!
The kids got the Italian sodas that were 🔥🔥🔥 my wife and I got the Butterbeer Latte 🤯 and the Reese's Mocha!
Perfect for a cold Colorado day spent downtown.

Great coffee and gelato. One of the easier places to find parking nearby. They have some gluten-free options and are working to add more. I love the quaint outdoor seating and the indoor area is great for doing computer work. Ask the girls about the history of the building. The little bookstore is also fun.

Great staple for Durango. Great coffee and boba and awesome selection of magazines you can get anywhere else nearby.

This is a lovely place for cold treats, especially if you are walking from the train museum down the street. They have an outdoor window for shaved ice. Indoors they have fresh gelato. We had the gelato, it was delicious and the staff very VERY FRIENDLY and helpful. I appreciated the shaded outdoors seating areas. It's easy to overlook b/c it doesn't pop up on search for dessert, ice cream, or gelato. But they definitely have cold and delicious treats!!!

I stopped here with my boyfriend while visiting Durango and we had the best smoothies ever! I definitely recommend the Tropical Twist with Mango boba poppers:) Hands down the best boba drink I have ever tasted! Made from real fruit and family owned, places like Boba Tea don’t even compare. Such kind owners/workers and a super cool place to hang out and drink smoothies or eat gelato when you need to sit after walking. I can’t wait to come back!

First visit to this warm, cozy and welcoming store. Keenan greeted us and made the most yummy Honey Vanilla Latte, Turmeric Latte and then when we saw the fluffy gelato we couldn't resist the Salted Caramel yumminess!! Such a fun place to browse and sweet upbeat conversation. A must to visit!!

Enjoyed their gelato and boba teas, but there were many more options - one of our group chose a smoothy instead. Easy walking access (two blocks) from the downtown train depot makes this a refreshing stop after your train ride. Pass up the chain ice cream place and go to this local option instead!

Do yourself a favor and visit this little shop. Both times we went in the owner was in there (with her family). She's incredibly nice, patient, and conversational --- so is her daughter who also works there! We love Italian gelato, the staple of this ice cream spot, so we were thrilled to grab a few scoops to go. Delicious!! If we come back to Durango, rest assured, we will be there again!

Little owned shop, good place to go for upcoming events in Durango, great chai tea, and they always have the funniest signs outside the shop! Must visit while in Durango!
