Magpies Newsstand & Cafe

Magpies is surprisingly large once you get inside. They've got a decent selection of snacks, foods, and other things you can find in a little convenience store. The staff is kind and quick in filling orders, which are of course delicious coffees.
I highly recommend the Bob Marly Mocha, it's absolutely delicious and made with banana and coconut, which was delightfully reminiscent of a banana latte I had found in Japan and miss having.
They're creative and nice to pop into, with great prices. Will definitely stop in again when I come through Durango in the future.

This place is AWESOME! I’ve been looking for a place to get a quick smoothie that actually has good customer service (which is unfortunately hard to find), but this place has it as well as awesome drinks! And it’s pretty darn cute. Definitely check it out if you’re in the area!

I love this spot, anytime I go to Durango I make a point to go here. The manager here is so wonderful and kind, she makes you feel like family and seems to genuinely love her job. Can't wait for the next trip!

This is one of my favorite places and I will not let liars try to ruin this establishment.

Good food, coffee, and great service.

We had a vegetarian breakfast burrito and spinach egg sandwich. The light roast drip coffee was tasty and they offered non-dairy milk options.

Wow such a phenomenal place! I'm so glad my husband and I decided to visit. Kelsey was so friendly and knowledgeable. Had a great smoothie and I'm looking forward to coming back:)

Very kind staff. Offered me free ice cream and a place to charge my phone after completing the Colorado Trail. I was able to find a good book from their excellent selection for the bus ride back to Denver.

Absolutely one of the best places I’ve been! Incredible staff, wonderful and affordable menu, and an all around magnificent experience! Anyone that gives this place a bad review must be a lunatic!

Love this place! The new store looks great (and clean!) and the staff is friendly and hardworking! They have lots of funny cards, magazines/newspapers and good smoothies and gelato!
