The owner is incredibly rude. I was enjoying the restaurant and she came up to me and gave me a hard time. I had already bought a large bag of coffee, quiche, a roll and two cups of coffee (and tipped big) and I was in line to buy even more food and drink. There was no one in the back room where I sat in the corner, so I was not taking up any needed space. I was quiet and not talking to anyone or bothering anyone. Pathetic treatment of her customers! ... Per her comment below, it proves exactly my point. I am not "streaming explicit material" of any kind! She is trying to smear me -- there is no "explicit material" from me that would offend her "family friendly cafe". I never did any "inappropriate behavior" of any kind in her restaurant!! And when she spoke to me her only complaint was that I had been there longer than she liked. I sat quietly the entire time I was there and even told her lots of very nice things. She is lying!!! I was NEVER inappropriate and the people that know me know that I never would be. She is trying to make this sound like I did something wrong and I DID NOT!! Her comment shows how little she cares about her customers.

Hermosa has by far the best quiche I’ve ever had! The service was wonderful and the waitress even made the experience more personal by telling us about the chef’s training in Germany. Hermosa makes sure to make you feel safe by supporting social distancing throughout their cute cafe!

Hermosa Cafe was a wonderful experience. Lucia was so welcoming. She recommended several local places for us to try during our stay and also explained to us that all of their food is made daily and they use local ingredients to spice it up. We got the roasted veggie sandwich to split and everything was SO fresh. I have never had such a yummy veg sandwich. The hometown vibe of this place, alone, is worth dropping in.

Another great place in gorgeous Durango, CO. Cute atmosphere, and very welcoming. Went in in a busy Sunday morning with the fam.The owner took our order and seemed like we’d known her forever. The quiche was egg-cellent!!😂 The drip coffee was great too! Our barista was friendly and informative and we could have hung out there all day. Oh yes I almost forgot the cinnamon rolls-to die for! It was so good I went back the next day and felt great hanging out by myself with a cup of Joe and a scone-so good! My new favorite cafe!!

Service was terrible, cashier person working on 3/26 at 10:30am was garbage, do not recommend.

This is our go to place on our vacation in Durango. Their smoothies are made from whole foods and are delicious, as are their quiches and baked goods. Wholesome goodness all around and you can’t beat their outdoor seating area! We will be back!

Absolutely delightful coffee shop in Durango! Some of the best customer service I’ve ever experienced and top notch coffee to boot. Lydia and Mark were absolutely wonderful. Great ambiance, great coffee, great service - what more could you ask for!

Very disappointed and upset with the service of this place. Me and my wife were visiting Durango Colorado from Utah and we looked for places tos have a good breakfast. We do not know the area, neither the policies of the restaurant. We arrived 10 minutes before 12 for breakfast. While we found a table and spent 5 minutes waiting in line to be attended, the kitchen closed for breakfasts at 12 sharp and we couldn’t get any eggs. I pointed it was 12:01, but there was not even an effort to satisfy a client. I felt like I was at a MacDonald’s. Maybe they’re better for coffee.
