The lady that works there was so rude. I was about to buy some coffees then my friend wanted to use the restroom and I asked for the key, she said that she cannot open the restroom before I buy something. I told her I was looking at the menu to see what to order and she said she won't open the restroom till I order and pay for it. That is simply not human, how they can denying a restroom service that someone is needed. I end up not getting my coffees there and she says that is a policy just because of her and those policies I'll never will go back to any coffee bean spot.

The service is the worst. Please don't hire people that hate their job, the lady at the cashier friday 12/23/22 around 1:30 pm has a very bad attitude to costumers, she was arguing with a costumer before me and after that she gave me a terrible attitude. Costumers don't deserve a bad attitude for someone that is there for helping people to take orders, I don't know if she was having a bad day but I don't think we deserve that kind of service. To be honest from now I prefer go to the next door coffee shop.

The coffee/tea is really good, but the service leaves a bit to be desired. The barista who served us really looked like he didn't enjoy working there.

I dropped by the Santa Ana Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf on Monday, December 9th at around 3pm. I really needed to use the restroom, and that’s where I went before placing my order. The door was locked and the barista told me that the bathroom was for paying customers only. I informed her that I planned on buying something as soon as I used the facilites, and she rudely shot back something along the lines of “well you have to buy something before I let you in.” I was shocked at the suspicion and lack of courtesy with which I was treated, and even though I was bursting at the seams, I left immediately to spend my money at a nearby establishment. How ironic that the word “grateful” is plastered across their front door, because they do not show gratitude to their customers. This is a Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf that I will not be visiting again.

Worst people in the world. I haven’t had many visits here and I did enjoy their coffee . Until one morning I walked in and they refused to serve me, I stood there wondering why and no matter how many times I asked they refused to tell my why I was denied service, please don’t support these kind of people, I didn’t make any scene nor did I lose my temper even though I feel I should have just stayed there until they gave me a reason but was very uncomfortable to stand around in front of people with no compassion.

Coffee is not bad, but the attitude was not very welcome. I was in line for the coffee and my friend asked the key for restroom. The cashier girl said that he can’t go to the restroom without purchase, he said that his friend already in the line for coffee. She said he need to wait other customer who is in line right now. And she didn’t allow him go to the restroom before other customer finished her purchase and go to the restroom. He should have waited 10-15 minutes, in that moment when the restroom was available. No…this attitude in cafe is not right!

Been here a handful of times and disappointing compared to other locations. The iced coffee are a miss. Always tasting odd or watered down. If these were my first impressions of coffee bean I would definitely never be back.

Unsustainable. I went in with my own container for hot water (I brought my own tea). Understanding that I would have to pay for the water, I was ready. When I was about to pay, the barista had a CBTL cup full of hot water ready for me. I said "I don't want the cup, can you pour it in here?" She said they weren't allowed to pour water into cups anymore. I refused the cup and took my money elsewhere.
I have always preferred Coffee Bean over Starbucks, but last I checked (last month), Starbucks gave me hot water in my own cup.
Sure I drove here, yes I don't own a farm or grow my own food(yet). Yes, I shop at stores for my clothes. Yet, if I would like to conserve at least one cup at a time and feel like I'm making a difference, so be it. A little can go a long way.
