I'm a fan of the bagels from the daily driver to the point where I start looking forward to my Tuesday bagel on Sunday so imagine my shock and dismay when I opened my bagel to find that the cream cheese I paid $1.50 for was 1mm thick and barely visible, a stark contrast to the usual good 1/2 inch of spread. I was still hungry after my bagel, which was probably due to the sheer volume of food I lost from having 1/2 inch of spread reduced to 1mm. Sad and disappointed.

The lineup is way too long here for a pretty mediocre bagel. I like the concept of the crispy outside but it was far too crispy to the point where it sliced up the whole inside of my mouth. The bagels did not live up to the hype, but they were not bad. But for the price you pay (around 4 bucks for a bagel) I will not be going back

I’m not a big fan of bagels but decided to try this place out and was pleasantly surprised at how good their bagels are. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. The place has an industrial chic decor feel and a chill vibe. They also have vegan spreads.

Bagels are great, but everything else is a lackluster experience. Service has been rude multiple times we’ve visited and the closing hours on their listing do not match their actual times (that or they just decide to close an hour early on Saturdays despite there still being people in line to order). There are other local breakfast options nearby, so I recommend them now to visitors.

Update March 22 - received complementary food and coffee and had a great experience w the staff. Look forward to next time.

Pretty regular customer here but had an order messed up with dine-in. The workers kept yelling Bart, and Bart took my order actually on accident. Did not get my food for an hour. One worker offered a refund which was nice. The other workers were rude about it when I asked about refund. They said they called my name. Clearly they did not and was calling Bart's name. Congratulations to Bart for the free BEC with your order.

The place is much bigger inside than I expected. Real clean too. The B.E.C. everything bagel sandwich was pretty perfect. The eggs (thin and folded) and bacon (right amount of crisp) were cooked superbly and cheddar cheese was great. The bagel wasn't huge and had some solid toasty bagel flavor. The rock salt on the everything was a nice touch.

The interior is a mix of rustic, modern, and industrial—all great when combined. The bagel sandwiches were very good, but it is super expensive. 6 dollars more just to add salmon is a lot. The coffee and homemade butter were also really good.

It's a really cute space, and it's fun to watch them make the bagels - but honestly the bagels are not very flavorful. We have gone twice with managed expectations and have been underwhelmed. You can get much better bagels elsewhere in the city.

We had a breakfast sandwich, everything bagel with cream cheese, and a pizza bagel. Bagels are good, yet, in the never ending quest for an east coast bagel, Daily Driver still isn't up to par. The everything bagel had a bit too much salt, and, I'd say their bagels are 30%-50% smaller than you'd expect.

The term "Daily Driver" comes from the world of people who own multiple cars - your DD is your main go-to.

This should give you some hint as to who this bagel shop is for.

My East Coast-bagel-spoiled-self objects to $5 mini-bagels, but maybe that's not an issue for you.

They are pretty tasty though, as long as they're fresh from the oven.
