A great neighborhood breakfast spot, with wood-fired bagels made right in front of you. Their bagels have just the right amount of crunch, with a nice assortment of spreads and toppings.
A place to start the day, or get some work done, while watching the bagels rolled by hand.

I recently visited Daily Driver and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed! The coffee was outstanding - I opted for a classic black coffee, and it was easily one of the best cups of joe I've had in a while. The bagel and cream cheese were also a hit - the cream cheese was perfectly whipped and the bagel was toasted just right.
What really caught my attention, though, was the wide selection. They have an impressive variety of bagels and spreads, and the coffee menu is just as extensive. And if that wasn't enough, there is ample space to sit and enjoy your food and drink. The environment is cozy and welcoming, making it a perfect spot to catch up with friends or get some work done.
Speaking of getting work done, the wifi is super fast - another major plus. All in all, I highly recommend Daily Driver for anyone looking for a delicious cup of coffee, a tasty breakfast, and a comfortable place to hang out.

An excellent place to have breakfast/lunch, then hunker down to do some work.
As many have mentioned, the space is really big with tables and couches on the second floor. The bagel sandwiches were delicious, quite hefty. And the coffee was fantastic! Only negative was that the machine was down when we were there and service was not on top of things (likely because of it). The cashier kept forgetting details about our order, then forgot to make our food (took a very long time). Still, it’s a cool vibe and a great place to have in your pocket for a coffeeshop workday.

- open concept area with upstairs seating, saw people working on laptops
- great vibes and cool interior design finishes. you can watch them make the bagels right in front of you
- everything bagel: toasted well and a solid bagel. i’m not a bagel expert but enjoyed.
- scallion cream cheese: pretty good but expected more flavor from the scallion, would try the jalapeño cream cheese next time

The doctor is in on Sunday!
Visited Daily Driver for the first time with 2 others and we were all glad we did. We had a chat with David & Marty and got the whole rundown on the space and the food. Great conversation and you can tell David is very passionate about Daily Driver along with being extremely intentional with his ingredients. Salmon is privately sourced and cured, milk is absurdly fresh, and coffee is roasted in house. And there's a creamery on site that doles out award winning cheese. Overall, the entire space is worth exploring.
About the food.
I ordered the Gravlax sandwich on an everything bagel. There was not a bad bite: fresh crisp cucumbers and red onion, the right amount of acid from the capers, buttery salmon, and a creamy layer of dill cream cheese to hold it all together.
The bagel itself was airy with a good crust, and let me be upfront here: while the style varies from the NY style bagel textures I grew up with, I much prefer this bagel for a sandwich. You can bite through the whole bagel without the fillings squeezing out the sides!
Not pictured is the half B.E.C. that disappeared rather quickly. Fluffy egg, very well cooked crispy bacon, and a slice of mildly sharp cheese. You can't ask for more in a breakfast sandwich.
Very happy with our choice to stop in and will be a go to spot next time I visit.

The bagels are small but delicious. The space is very large so it’s popular for working / group meetings. The jalapeño cream cheese was too spicy for me. So I also got some plain cream cheese and I’m going to mix them together and achieve the perfect heat level
We got there at the end of the day right before 2 o’clock and there were not a lot of bagel Flavors left, but still it was a fun place and I would go back. It would be nice if they had a sign that indicated what flavors were left because the person at the counter seemed a little confused.
I loved the stack of wood in the front window that I guess is part of the woodfired flavoring of the bagels.
the history of the space is told with photos on the wall, so that’s pretty charming also - and the name is very clever

I’m not sure I should tell you about this one. I’d like to keep this little gem to myself. None the less, this place has a great cortado and pretzels. I’m especially fond of a great German style pretzel. I tried the everything pretzel and wasn’t disappointed. The secret here is the upstairs area where you can relax and enjoy the coffee and check your email for a bit.

I wanted to like this place but my bagel + cream cheese order was far from satisfactory. The bagel was unexpectedly small (hand for reference, and I am 5'3" and have small hands). The cream cheese was just not good. It's made in-house but the texture was grainy and flavor was one-dimensional, but some of the owner's responses make it sound like it's supposed to be that way..? The cream cheese was also spread very messily and was too salty with the bagel. The lady who took our order frowned at us the whole time which just didn't give us a nice vibe. Go try The Laundromat SF if you actually want a good bagel in SF.
The one redeeming thing is that there's a lot of natural lighting and seating. It seems like a great place to sit and get some work done on a laptop.

My absolute favorite coffee shop in San Francisco! They have delicious coffee and bagels. The atmosphere is clean and cute. All staff are so kind! It has been the perfect location to study and get work done.

Not that great and definetly not worth the price. $16 for a bagel that was very small and not all that good. Looks to be a coworking space upstairs, but people stay for a while so Goodluck finding a seat. I don’t think I will be coming back, but hopefully you have a better experience than we did
