Bagels are alright, particularly heavy use of poppy seeds, but that's preference. What made this place lose stars was the awful cream cheese. It has a terrible texture that resembles ricota cheese and had 0 creaminess to it, basically just a powdered mess. Did not enjoy my bagel until I scraped off the cream cheese.

I heard such good things about DD and I couldn’t be more disappointed. The bagels:
- good texture but are so bland I honestly think they forgot to add salt to the dough
- are much smaller than an average bagel
- have a few molecules of schmear
- a single cucumber slice cost $0.50
- a single slice of tomato cost $0.50
Safe yourself $30 and go to Safeway.

Really nice space to meet friends or enjoy some quiet time alone. Both bagels and the coffees are on the pricier sides. I ordered the tuna bagel which was good portion.

Just got a B.E.C. (bacon, egg, cheese) bagel. It was phenomenal. Daily driver makes some of the best bagels in San Francisco. That's not a hard bar to reach, as SF bagels are dreadful when compared to NY bagels, however these are truly great.
Unfortunately, I ordered both the BEC, and another bagel toasted with butter. The toasted with butter had clearly been made first, as it was nearly cold when I received it. The comparison between the two bagels was night and day. The toasted with butter, nearly cold bagel is only worth one star. I definitely won't order it again.
Great bagels, but this was definitely a partial fail on execution. Too bad. I had high hopes.

Charming but pricey bagel. Can do a lot of customizations. Many people on weekends!

They don't customize bagel sandwiches. Apparently having eggs AND veggies is just too much to ask. You get one or the other. Coffee is fine.

Bagel was good, but was smaller than your typical bagel? Had to wait a while to just place an order even though there was barely a line - seems like it could use a third person at the counter taking orders. The space is very nice though.

Advertises that they are open 7 days a week from 8am-2pm. I went WAY out of my way to go to the Dogpatch location. Arrived at 11am and the industrial door was closed. Tried calling but there's no way to reach them at either location on the phone. The Dogpatch phone says to go online and write an email, OR you can press 3 to be transferred to the Ferry Building location. Tried that several times; the line was busy. Today I tried again twice to reach the Ferry Building. The outgoing message said "this call cannot be completed." Then I rang the Ferry Building location directly and the call just dropped. I specifically wanted to buy the butter but there's no way to order that online. Are you guys going out of business? Sure seems like it ...

Best bagels in SF .... Honestly the best bagels to me of anywhere. Can't go wrong with the BEC worx sandwich on the bagel of your choice. Fresh squeezed orange juice is great too. For the cream cheese the scallion horseradish cream cheese is so bomb! The cheeses are made by Daily Driver as well so the butterstase cheese is a definite must try as well, comes on the BEC. They've got three locations so plenty of opportunity to try if you're in the Dogpatch, at the Ferry Building, or Ghirardelli Square.

Very Friendly staff! Savory Fresh Food.. Can't wait to come back and try the lobster roll Oneday.
