I love coming here to get BEC then go climb at Dogpatch just a couple feet down the street. Always a great time here. Would recommend adding some sriracha if you like it spicy. Highly recommend this spot if you are spending the day in SF.

Bagels are fine, but lox bagel was not great. Quite overpriced, a small lox bagel for $15.

Great place for a retro dine in atmosphere, guaranteed to bring out the hippie in you.
Great music, super food. The Classic Bagel meals and the Everything Bagels are a must.
Service with a happy smile. Thank you to Andrea for looking after us.

Definitely a different take on cream cheese. It's tangy like goat cheese. The bagels are stellar, and it's fun to watch them get baked as you wait

Definitely a pricey bagel, but they are dense and chewy, like a bagel should be. I'm an extra toasted bagel person, and they don't toast, but it doesn't even need it tbh! For all those bitchin about the cream cheese. Get some culture 😤 the cream cheese is the bomb. I go here 80% just for the cream cheese. That being said, the tub isn't enough for the packs of bagels the sell.

Get the BEC breakfast bagel. All ingredients are tip notch. Came with a tasty cappuccino. Expensive, but this is SF.

This is all fresh baked in-house bagels, some east coast, some west coast style. The pre-built bagel sandwiches are excellent but pricey. But there are many custom built options, that are delicious, make a full meal, and are no more expensive than picking up a premade sandwich from Safeway. Great for takeaway to one of the nearby parks for an alfresco lunch.

Loved the egg and cheese bagel! Cappuccino was great too.

While expensive, this place is very much worth it. The bagels are so homemade, and they're delicious. Best bagel in SF hands down!
I will say, something very weird about this place is their cream cheese. I've spoken to plenty of people about it, and I'm not the only one: the cream cheese is grainy, like goat cheese. It's such an uncomfortable mouth feeling, it doesn't taste right. I swear to God, it's the only thing wrong with this place. I'm tempted to bring my own Philadelphia next time I go, I kid you not. The cream cheese is whack, and I don't get it. They need to change their supplier, thats not how cream cheese is supposed to be. It's not right bro.
The spot itself is awesome, great for sitting down to work for a long time. The little gift shop is adorable, so San Francisco, I love it
Weird cheese tho

An exceptionally bad bagel. I keep trying to like them, as they are close to work, but I’m disappointed every time. Pictured below is a bagel with “extra” cream cheese. I’m sad about these bagels.
