The butter on these bagels is unreal. The place itself is super cool, don’t be afraid of the line.

Salt bagel and cream cheese was yummy!
My oatmilk latte was very tasty. The espresso shot he poured was nice and creamy, it made my latte taste delicious and I didn't need to add brown sugar. The guy who help us was really nice and actually follow directions when I asked to make my latte not so hot.
I also learned they are the only ones in San Francisco that make their own butter and cheese.

Tried a bagel and pretzel, both untoasted. The garlic bagel was good with a slight exterior crunch and a soft inside (on the denser side though). The salt pretzel was unremarkable and a bad deal for $4.5. Overall the bagel was fine, but not worth the wait or price.

Great oat milk lattes and bagels. Hot and fresh from the oven.

I stopped by at 11am on a Sunday to pick up some bagels to bring home due to all of the hype. I was disappointed that they were out of poppy seed already, so I got sesame and plain. The sesame bagels hardly had any sesame seeds on them (and were almost indistinguishable from the plain). The bagels themselves are a little bready -- no malt flavor and they verge on tough rather than chewy. I wouldn't get these bagels again. We've been doing the rounds trying all the new bagel shops and pop-ups, and so far these are the bottom of the barrel. (Our favorite thus far have been Schlok's -- fluffier, excellent malt flavor, and good chew; rather than tough like these were).

As a side note, I was disappointed to see that the cashier removes his mask to yell out names while customers are standing immediately in front of him.

Really pricey, hard and dense bagels unless you get them fresh. Paid for a $6.5 butterscotch latte but later found that they were out and they substituted a vanilla latte ($4.5) instead. It would’ve been nice to know beforehand. The gravlax was dry and crumbly, same with my salmon. Underwhelming.

I had high hopes but was disappointed. After moving from the East Coast 4 years ago I struggled to find a good bagel in the Bay Area. The DD bagels have the crisp and the chew nearly right, but the taste is all wrong. Probably the best I've tried locally (very similar to Beauty's in Oakland), but not the real thing. Plus they are way overpriced. $39 for a dozen! I can get bagels shipped overnight from Zabars or H&H in NYC for half that price (which is what I've been doing and will have to continue doing until a better option comes along).

This place is amazing! The bagels are definitely the best in San Francisco and you have to have the B.E.C. and coffee when you go for breakfast. All of the ingredients are fresh and delicious. The bagels are toasted in a wood fired oven right in front of you and couldn't be any fresher. It's a beautiful space with lots of natural light and plenty of seating. It's a great place to hang out and spend a morning.

Great bagels. I stop by to get breakfast every week or so. I especially love their BEC. My only complaint is that sometimes they put too much salt. Bagels are a bit on the expensive side, but the quality is definitely there.

Unbelievably cool atmosphere, friendly wait staff, best bagels in the city! They have event nights too during the weekdays which are super fun - I brought friends and family last time and we all stayed for a couple of hours playing board games. Bagels are perfect - dairy is fresh (made on site!!). Buy some butter to take home - you won't regret it. I hope they open a place on the other side of the city soon.
