Great selection of very specific coffees. I had a drip coffee that they added cream and sugar to. When I consumed it, it tasted like a specialty espresso drink, not a drip coffee. I really liked this shop and will be back for sure. Their breakfast foods were divine, as well. Give it a try!

The secret sauce to the Stanford smarts! Flavorful and ESG friendly coffee and food that power the brainiacs in Palo Alto. My must visit every time I’m in town.
Don’t forget the staff. They’re knowledgeable and on it.

First time there, ordered Aromatic Arabic, so good, lot better than the two big franchises. Can’t wait to try the other flavors.

Ok. I love Philz. I love their coffee. I have since I first stepped into the original location in the Mission.
I stayed a loyal customer. Had it in Noe. Palo Alto. South Palo Alto. Menlo Park.
Love this location and how convenient it is. There's even often parking right there.
What I don't like is how wait times have gotten so long since the pandemic that it's almost impossible to have an impromptu coffee there. You have to PLAN AHEAD.
Which means I almost never go anymore.
I did get to go this morning however, at 7am. There are no lines. My ether with cream was ready super fast. Smooth and dark and warm. The almond croissant was perfect. There was seating available.
Perfect life achieved.
Thanks Philz.

I love their mint mojito coffee, sweet & creamy version. It’s a treat I get @ least once a week n it takes me 2 days to finish it. Sometimes I get the Twice baked almond croissant for a nice breakfast when I’m craving sweet on top of sweet! Definitely give it a try next time, either you’ll like it or u won’t. Be I love it!

What a great coffee stop! My wife and I were looking for any cafe in DTPA with seating available on a Saturday late morning, which actually was a big ask. Fortunately, Philz had some seating which we promptly jumped on and got some coffees. I loved the mint coffee with a little sprig of mint leaf in it, and my wife got a standard brewed coffee which she also said was pretty solid. The staff were really friendly and chatty, which I find often isn't the case. After a nice convo about some local palo alto news, I promptly got our coffees and we enjoyed the vibe while reading/working for a little while. Of note, the table was actually designed to be comfortable for people above ~5'5" or so. I am ~6'0" and find far too many coffee shops have tiny furniture which is really uncomfortable for me. Overall, a very pleasant experience, and I look forward to coming back.

Iconic Silicon Valley cafe chain that deserves a visit if you're in the area. I found their ordering system extremely bizarre - you first choose your drinks, then pay for it, don't seem to receive any kind of receipt, and then go back to the original place to wait for your drinks? But it works, and the drinks are fantastic enough to be worth it! I recommend their iced coffee menu, which never disappoints on warm Peninsula days!

Always enjoy getting a coffee Philz and this place is pretty unique. The staff is super friendly as always and my tesoro Phil's way was delicious. It's a great place to sit and read a book while you wait for your kid to ref a hockey game at the nearby rink. The music is just a little bit loud for my taste but otherwise a great place to get a coffee and read a book.
