Philz is a coffee brand that originally started in the San Francisco, bay area and is gaining traction on growing beyond their bay area roots. Housed in what was once a Starbucks, they offer stupendous drip coffee styles and treats to eat.

I will NEVER come to this JOKE of a place EVER again! I paid $10.00 for an iced tea and chocolate croissant that took 20 MINUTES to get! They had SIX surly/unfriendly teenagers "working" and it STILL took that long. This place will NOT last! #LAME

Straws in cups, using full batch brew filters for a single cup. It just seemed like everything in the shop was an after thought. And the brewing equipment was patched together from spare parts taken out of their grandpas garage. Open bean containers. Trash cans don’t fit the cabinets. I mean this place is a yard sale. Aside from the aesthetic, I’ve seriously had better coffee from 7/11. In full disclosure — I’m a “coffee person”, but I give everyone a fair shake. This was abysmal.

The first time we went there, they were closing early. There was no sign on the door, and they waited till we went in and decided what we were going to order before telling us.
The next time even though there was only two people ahead of me. I had to wait about 30 minutes for my coffee to be made. Definitely would not go back again. It’s also very hard to get a flavored latte there. They do pour overs instead not the same.

Not gonna lie, I used to drive from Ventura to Santa Monica some days just to get Philz. Now I only have to drive to TO.
GOD BLESS. Lol.
Also, Angel is my favorite barista. He's always so kind and definitely makes the best drinks ;)

Never been here before. Inside is nice. Had high hopes. However, despite 4-5 people behind the counter it took 20+ minutes to pour 2 cold brews. When approached they apologized for the delay, but didn’t start on the order. We watched 5 people who came in after us receive drinks while ours were ignored. Then after 20 minutes when I approached a staff member they informed me their wait time was 20-25 minutes for drinks. Something that would have been nice for the cashier to inform a customer prior to ordering. All in all not a great experience. Will not be back.

To quote Yogi Berra: “No one goes there anymore. It’s too crowded.” Not only is it too crowded, it literally—LITERALLY—took them, again LITERALLY, 30 MINUTES to get me a cup of coffee that didn’t taste any different than Starbucks. This place is a passing fad.

It was fine. I don't get the business model though. Why only drip coffees. Starbucks only works because they have a 10k espresso machine that I can't buy so lates I have to go there but everyone has a mr. Coffee to brew drip at home.

Worth the price. I'm happy it's not a Starbucks anymore, there are enough of those around! Nice to chill here and personally I like the music when I've been in. Will be here pretty often

Big fan great coffee, I usually get decaf and it’s still good. Also, great customer service and friendly workers 😊
