We had the worst coffee we’ve been served here. The cappuccinos didn’t even have a hint of espresso taste… more like slightly burnt milk. We cut our losses, tossed them and thankfully found actual espresso just a couple blocks down Franklin at Captain+Stoker.

Amazing little hidden gem! Lovely staff, amazing drinks and pastries both savory and sweet and the best, smoothest caramel maccihato I have EVER had

I went for a quick lunch and was quickly disappointed. The girl taking our order was very polite - the reason why this isn't a 1 star review. My wife's vanilla soy latte was watery and bland. The Americano I ordered was fine. However, the "panini" was extremely disappointing. If it were labeled "toasted sandwich," it would have been fine - overpriced, but fine. It also came out on a flimsy paper plate. If I had ordered from a food truck or they ran out of real plates, no biggie. However, there was a tall stack of real plates by the counter and the staff must have just not wanted to clean the dishes afterwards. The music was a top 40 mix. Not my taste, but not offensive. Rubbing salt in the wound, the trash was overflowing when I needed to throw the plate away. I am happy to spend money on good food. I also enjoy the value of a cheap, quick eat. This is neither. I will not be a returning customer.

A cozy place to stop by for coffee and food. It can get a bit crowded sometimes, otherwise it’s a nice place to get some work done.

Very good place for breakfasts.
For the ham&eggs lovers - it’s awesome!!
The coffee was fine.
Price is ok, staff are nice.

So close to the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey campus! Coffee, pastries, sandwiches, and wifi! A favorite place to get some studying done while people watching 😂 (and they give a student discount with ID)

As far as I know, this is a single location outfit. Staff is friendly and competent. They are primarily a coffee house, however, they have a fine menu that would put Starbucks to shame when it comes to breakfast items. I recommend that you give them a try when in Monterey.

Super close to 5 stars. Nice staff, open early, tons of great coffee options. Fresh crepes and food that isn't half bad. One of the best more down to earth spots in Monterey!

Small coffee shop in monterey. All staff is friendly and helpful. The door remains open until late so its a bit cold inside. The coffee is ok.

Excellent lattes and vegetable quiche, extremely reasonable prices, would definitely come here again. The egg custard inside the quiche was exquisite ( the crust was just a tiny bit under baked), the onions gave it that classic sweet flavor (no nutmeg) and it had the perfect amount of cheese and vegetables. They even use eco friendly containers and utensils for take out. One of the few coffee shops that opens early enough to catch the gorgeous morning views at nearby coastal areas. Really appreciate the thought and care of the entire staff who work here, it really shows! Thanks guys for making giving us a really great start to our day!
