Crepes of Brittany

We came here for breakfast and splurged on a few items. The blueberry crepes were delicious - not too sweet, and the blueberry compote in top was delicious. The salmon and brie crepe (with added caramelized onions) was DELICIOUS. Very hearty and flavorful. The French onion soup was pretty good, but didn't quite compare to the crepes, which were stellar.

This place is a gem. The smoked salmon crepe with grilled onions and raw onions on top was fabulous. The salmon tasted and smelled fresh. It came with lemon to put on top. The French dip soup was amazing. It was just super hot so we had to wait a while to eat it so next time I will have to ask to put the bread aside so it doesn't get very soft and soggy. The blueberry fruit crepe was very good to. The whipped cream on top made a great touch. I like that they have outdoor patio.

This place is mostly busy almost every day for breakfast but the line moves quickly and there’s plenty of seating for customers. Their crepes are authentic, tasty, and big! You get a good amount for what you pay for. Of course, my favorite is the Nutella and banana and strawberry crepe. But they have sweet and savory crepes, you can also kind of build your own which is super helpful!

The family stopped by on our way to the Coastal Trail and it was one of our favorite meals of the trip. The smoked salmon crepe was outstanding; the flavors between the buckwheat crepe, brie, mushrooms, smoke salmon, and red onion were perfectly balanced. Don't skip the superb French onion soup and treat yourself to one of their well made espresso drinks. The machiato served in the glass mug was pretty as well as pretty tasty.

The Crepe of Brittany was my favourite place for breakfast back in 2013 when I was staying in Monterey. Back then, I recall that it was located at the fisherman wharf in a small shop that they share with a stall selling nice hot apple cider. I was really into their brie salmon crepe, which to me have a five star rating. It's been 9 years since I came back to Monterey and this was one of the must go place for breakfast.

Compared to 2013, the selection of crepes seems to have increased. As for the quality of the food, while the brie salmon was still good, I thought the Crepe back in 2013 was better. The Crepe more feels more like those served full restaurant but the Crepe back in 2013 seems to have a more homey feeling. Nevertheless, the Crepe still taste great and is one of the place that offers the best crepe around.

Stopped here for breakfast on a day trip to Carmel and Monterey. The crepes were absolutely delicious, and the latte was nice and strong. They said the wait would be 30 minutes, but the food came much faster than that.

I ordered a savoury crepe and my husband ordered the apple cinnamon caramel… we both were quite ecstatic with the taste.. They were one of the better crepes, we have ever had! Absolutely delicious…. I will certainly return whenever I can!

This place was delicious and there were many great options. The staff was friendly and inviting. The location was also pretty convenient since it was close to the Portola hotel. I ordered a blueberry cream cheese crepe while my brother got a strawberry Nutella crepe with ice cream. My sister’s croissant took a little longer, but it was still good nonetheless. The crepes were both very filling and pleasing to look at and eat, definitely a restaurant I’d recommend and go to again.

All about crepes here. Sweet and savory. Friendly staff. Order and you get food delivered to the table. Great outdoor and indoor seating. We ordered the smoked salmon and sweet and savory. Worth a visit.

Customer service could use some work but the crepes are delicious. We split a ham & egg gallete and a strawberry & cream cheese crepe. Both were cooked perfectly and were more than enough for two people to be full.
