Probably the best coffee shop downtown. They do more than coffee though. Excellent pastries and baked goods. Just had a nice piece of pumpkin pie.

... pitstop for a refuel landed us here on a damp and dreary early afternoon walk thru monterey ... they make a strong latte but serve a questionable take on a croissant (maybe call it an almond bear claw?) ... album art and vintage concert posters adorn the walls but alas no music playing ...

This is the only non-corporate coffeeshop in downtown Monterey. Everything about this place is mediocre.

Good coffee, chill atmosphere. A short walk away from Old Fisherman’s Wharf.

Decent coffee and modest prices. They also have a variety of bubble teas.

Good hygiene during covid. Coffee was freshly and competently made from fresh ground beans. Food selection a bit sparse.

Decent value and quality.

Two different coffees - a latte and a frappe - tasted rotten, like the milk or coffee molded. Threw them out. Worried about food poisoning later today :(

Avoid at all costs.
