TZone Monterey

Drinks were great. Though their menu isn't big, there are great options for variations. It took a while for them to take our order. Once another employee came on, our order was taken promptly and made very quickly.

The place is pretty spacious. The menu is really small and limited compared to other boba places I've been to in other cities. I wish they had more to choose from. The music is fun but a little too loud when ordering. We ordered 7 drinks and upon receiving them asked for a cup holder or bag. They did not have anything. The girl who took my order was not helpful. It took another person to offer us a makeshift holder so we wouldn't have to hold all 7 drinks individually. Overall not good but not bad so just an average boba place.

The boba tea was fantastic and reasonably priced with a lot of fruit and boba. The staff was friendly. No masks worn though. The mango drink however, was pretty terrible and imo should be removed from the menu. They should stick with the tea.

Parking on the street. Large space with indoor areas to drink and the door was open for ventilation.

Cute place to get some boba and enjoy the walk on Monterey Bay! I tried the California journey with boba and it tasted great as a non dairy tea option however the fruit jellies were sometimes to big to come through the straw. The caramel milk tea tasted good as well!

Walked into an empty store. Two teenage girls acted as such with monotone greeting and lazy eyes. They turned to make our drinks with frowns on their face.
Ordered to-go and left with them saying a sarcastic “thanks, have a good day.”

The tea was as good as their attitude.
Dried fruit had gone bad and both drinks were thrown away after a few sips.
I got the Fantasy Garden.

The other drink (taro milk tea) was just plain milk and little flavor.

Come here pretty regularly because in the area there are no many boba choices. Forgot to take photos. I got my preferred drink-jasmine milk tea half sweet with boba and Crystal boba. They were super generous with the toppings. There is only one drink size. Pricey is similar to most places. $6-8 depending on how many toppings. They weren’t busy in a Friday evening after dinner. Drinks were ready super fast.

I've been going to Tzone since around it first opened, I love the Boba, but for some reason lately I've noticed that the fresh lemon tea is more sour now, I tried talking to one of the people behind the counter, but she said that nothing had changed, maybe I'm just going crazy but I'm confused. (I went here with a friend a while ago and she agreed)

this place literally has the worst boba. typically it’s either hard, not fresh, or they’re simply out. the only thing worth getting here is the piña colada to be honest with you, and yet they run out of ingredients. save yourself time from going to this place if you want good boba.

I went today to get some avocado smoothie with boba! I bought 4 of them to share with my co workers. First they forgot my order I had to wait almost 30 minutes. Then when I got my order went to work and gave my co workers the smoothie. My co worker stated that it doesn't have much taste of avocado and it is not sweet either. I tasted it and sure enough it almost taste like water down avocado. This is not the first time it happened. Last time I was there I bought Thai iced tea and it is also taste water down. So disappointing.

My boyfriend and i were excited to try out the smoothie, but was told the blender was broken and seems that the sign was up for awhile. so we decided to get teas.

given COVID employees were not wearing gloves and observed the employee come from break and didn’t wash her hands before preparing drinks.

we requested for no ice, but when we received our order our cups weren’t filled and was charged extra for no ice. i have been to other tea shops that charge for no ice, but my cup would be filled at least to the top. the total for these two drinks were $12.
on top of everything else, the employees did not seem happy and seems irritated that we were asking questions as it was our first time here.
