Really great restaurant with lovely staff and delicious options, my only issue is that the valley person outside has to spend all night standing in the cold without a heater, while the rest of the staff are working inside a temperature controlled space. Also would be great but there were maybe one or two more vegan options. 2.5 stars, please consider getting our mans a heater
Here is a photo of him standing in the cold, photographed by myself wearing three layers.

I came for the bread and it's soo delicious! I honestly spent the most money on bread because everything just looks soo good. Breakfast food selection is very good as well, I had the shakshuka and waffle.
Valet parking is available, otherwise find street parking. Seating for breakfast/lunch is first come first serve, so just order your food at the counter and find a table.

Charlie Chaplin’s second home! Beautiful place. The wine is absolutely delicious. I came here to read a book. Great for dates and families. The bartender was super nice and friendly. I wish the bathrooms had the same character as the restaurant. Must come. I feel I’m in Europe here. Put more pictures of Chaplin please :)

The presentation of the food was waunderwhelming for how much you pay. But the flavors of the food were good.
A must try is the brown butter cookie!!!!
I had the salmon on top of a potato pancake, with 2 poached eggs. I would definitely get it again. We also got the French toast. It wasn't anything special. I would get something different next time. And the Expresso was ok. The hot chocolate was not good at all.
A downside is limited street parking, but they do have valet parking.

As a first timer, I didn't know you were suppose to walk down the bakery and pick what you want as you make your way to the register. I kind of blew past it which I regret. But luckily, the lady at the cash register ask me what pastries I wanted and recommended the ube brioche as that is one of the items that sells out first.
We then proceeded on ordering breakfast. Because we had KBBQ the night before and was also preparing to get on a flight, we decided to eat light. We got the morning's bread which was a fresh out the oven baguette with homemade butter and jam. We also ordered a French omelet and a roasted vegetable frittata. After we ordered we got a number and picked our seat.
The food was so simple yet so good. It is literally all about the quality and freshness of the food. Will definitely go back when I visit LA next time. Maybe for dinner... oh did I mention? The chef there is recently nominated for the James bread award! That should say alot for itself :)

We went on a rainy wednesday morning, still very crowded. But the foodwise, i cant complain. Their bask cheesecake was so good. 10/10! The service was slow just bc there were a lot of customers but id say one of the best brunch places in LA.
Get the French toast & cheesecake, so good.
Avocado toast was fresh and average.
Croquemadam, was not salty. Delicious enough.

We arrived at 9:40 am on a Saturday and almost left when we saw the line outside but service was extremely quick and we didn’t mind the wait at all. The pastries were all fresh baked and delicious. We really enjoyed the quiche and croque de madame.

Amazing restaurant! There is a reason that this restaurant is consistently rated so highly with an enormous number of reviews: exceptional food with excellent service in a beautiful atmosphere. The setting lends itself to any occasion and can accommodate both casual or more formal dinners. I sat in the atrium (where the arches are), which is a little reminscent of a European village. Recommend groups where everyone can share and taste a little bit of everything. I had the baguette with pan drippings, venison patte, and liberty duck. All were exceptional. A little pricey but within reason and totally worth it. I think the lunch and dinner menus are totally different so I will certainly try to return for brunch.

Arrived at 9 am on a Saturday, parked on the street because their valet parking looked full. Waited in line for about 20 minutes. Got some pastries to go and ordered a mushroom toast and English breakfast tea to eat in. Luckily my part of 3 found a table in the back. Food came out fast and it was delicious. I thought it would be smaller but it was a big serving of toast and eggs and mushrooms. I suggest arriving earlier than 9 to be sure you can grab a table. It's a very pricey meal when you get pastries to go, but it is worth it and I think it's nice to splurge once in a while.

A slightly pricey, but fantastic breakfast experience. I'd suggest getting here before 9:30 to avoid a wait, but everything is AMAZING. I especially enjoyed the brioche French toast and bought some cookies and a croissant to-go.
