Great spot for breakfast. Beautiful pastries and delicious entrees. Cool room too. Don’t be too put off by the ever present line to get in, moves pretty quickly but it builds quickly if you don’t get there early and then there’s a wait. The room is always busy but you can always find somewhere to sit. The croque madam was kind of heavy, skip that. Everything else was quite good.

Overall experience was great, the interior lay out is pretty unique,a great place for photos. I ordered a Today’s quiche and a Croque Madame. The ingredient’s quality are high, but flavor profile was not my cup of tea. Their flavor is more on the bland side. I was expecting the savory ham to stand out when I bite into the sandwich. However, the grease from the cheese and the toasted bread coated my taste buds before I can taste the ham. The side salad was a bit too acidic with the combination of shallots, sea salts, and lemon juice. This is a great place for people who pursues simple flavors and extremely fresh ingredients.

Love the food and atmosphere. I reached at around 11am and there was a long queue. However, the queue moved pretty fast, where orders were taken before finding a seat.

Was it worth the wait? Definitely yes but just make sure you are not queuing when you are absolutely starving. 😉

Ordered the salmon with potato pancake, french toast and the mushroom toast.

The restaurant had a nice decoration and mood. The seating was a bit cozy and tight squeeze. The presentation of the food was excellent, but I am not sure that the price worth the quality and amount of the food. I liked their shrimp. It was a tiny shrimp, but tasted delicious. They charge you 4% service fees to pay for their employees health insurance. On Top of the tip I assume.

The avocado toast was also very good and lighter than the mushroom toast. I love how it wasn’t just plain avocado, and the balance of the seasonings were just right.

The mushroom toast has a wild blend of textures and flavors. To complement a crunchy, crispy toast, fluffy and light scrambled eggs are delicately placed on top. The mushroom toast was flavorful and very rich.

The food is phenomenal. We stopped here on our cross-country trip. I'm just loving it, I would love to come again.

The food is amazing and ingredients quality is excellent and fresh.
The food was so good that I forgot to take pictures. Also the atmosphere is very nice.
They get 4 stars in my view because the restaurant is busy and I feel they are under staffed. We didn’t get spoons for the coffee or sugar or salt and pepper and we had to walk around looking for them while the food was getting cold.

Very nice food. Pricey but worthy. They use fresh fruit as part of the ingredients which makes the taste fresh and unique. Good for a hot summer day. Baguette is also fresh made in-house with the Normandy butter or Italian olive oil. I had two baguettes before the entree.

Excellent meal. The menu is more modern, doesn’t bother with some classics. Great service. Fantastic cocktails. The duck was a good dish, but the breast was under seared and overall just felt like it was missing something. Ultimately, a bit overpriced.

I tried their banana poppy seed cake, the texture was great, not too greasy but moist enough👍👍. Croissant is well made also, must try.

You will see a long queue outside of the restaurant but surprisingly don’t need to wait for a long time.

The crab omelet is a must, the egg is well seasoned & cooked, plenty of crabmeat, so soft but no runny egg yolk👍👍

We have never had Pupusa before, this is our first. We like how they layer the flavors for this dish.

My son had the traditional breakfast plate, he enjoyed the bacon steak, which is steak style. We saw some people leave the whole bacon steak on the plate, maybe they expected thinner crispy bacon? They cook the potatoes so nice, crispy outside and tender inside👍

We like this restaurant very much. We wants to go for dinner but we couldn’t make it on this trip. If I come back to LA again, this restaurant will be one of my must-visit places.

Good:
The bakery is so fast and so high quality! Loved the sweet cream mango pie - so tasty. The quiche was average but definitely tasty. I also liked the matcha bunt cake - it was super crisp and tasty. Finally the cream cheese with smoked salmon pastry was good too!

I liked the aesthetic here / super clean and pretty

Bad:
They do run out of different items so quick. The short rib pastry literally went out in front of our eyes. Also there’s always a line but it goes quick.
