Chateau Marmont

Came to this place on a whim with some friends to a VIP party in the rooftop bar.....so....fancy! It's pretty expensive for my taste but, being on someone else's tab, I really got to enjoy it to it's fullest. The food is great. The drinks are great! I didn't go into the hotel part at all but if you are going to the bar and have the cash to spend a TON on drinks and food then by all means this place lives up to it's reputation.

This is only for the restaurant on the patio. The hostess was lovely and the waiters were attentive and friendly. I had a great mule and my friend and I shared hummus and pitas which was a great snack. The waiter brought out a second serving of pitas for free.
The patio felt intimate and luxe; you can definitely imagine celebs hanging out here.

We've been huge fans of the Chateau for years, but this past weekend they completely outdid themselves with their care and kindness during our lunch. As always we had a wonderful meal - and what an incredible setting the courtyard is - but the thing that we were so grateful for was the level of attention and consideration that the staff gave us - particularly Lee. My 6 year old nephew is in a wheelchair, and everyone was so incredibly helpful and accommodating to our every need. A million thanks to all, and we can't wait to come back.

I love going to the Marmont. We always go for breakfast, so we really aren’t looking to see any celebrities. The food is excellent and the service is what you would expect; the wait staff are there for your needs, but they do not hover.

Beautiful atmosphere. However, food was just ok, and my order was incorrect. I ordered the roast chicken...it was DRY and flavorless. There were no mashed potatoes as described on menu.
The valet parkers acted confused as if they were on drugs. Couldn't find my car at first and then drove it up , at night with headlights off.
Disappointed.
Also should mention they charged me twice for parking = $24.00

what a treat. i was taken here for a birthday weekend...dinner in the courtyard was sedate and elegant, yet not stuffy, and we were treated to an upgrade from a standard room to a lovely suite with a terrific view of the pool area and city below. an after dinner drink and munchies at the bar next door capped off the event with charm. renovations were underway during our stay which made for a little edginess, but overall, the place lived up to its reputation. enjoy!

I've had the pleasure of coming here over the past 25 years... The staff keep the tradition of what this place was made on. Service and etiquette with class and style. Always a go to when passing through.

The outdoor patio is superb. The architecture is literally to die for. Wine list is excellent for all price points and palettes. Food is excellent. Service is on point.

This place is aesthetically one of - if not the most beautiful dining establishment I have ever been. Very gothic and dark which suits its' rich history as an infamous rockstar haunt.

If you are in the bar take a look behind the tilted mirrors on the back wall and you will find that they are covering an array or 1920's pornography 😜.

Cocktails are balanced. Staff is professionally courteous. Setting meets some hype. The truffle fries EXCEED EVERYTHING. The texture is perfect like Jack in the Box fries when you are stoned at 2am....but better.

I don't think I am telling anyone anything new about this iconic hotel, but regardless, I know my personal and honest opinion will be of value somewhere down the line. Very few hotels in the world are time capsules or capable of conjuring such a unique vibe created by such a vast history. Beyond the experiences offered as services, I have always appreciated the management and staffs outlook regarding privacy and professionalism. Likewise, I've always appreciated their outlook of equality in treating every guest the same.
