The servers are no better than a Denny's . Went for brunch. The chateau is beautiful but would expect servers in restaurant that
at least said thank you or hello. . the food was brought with the wait staff member holding the plate with his thumb touching the food on all three plates . On the fries he had the thumb very far in touching and moving the fries when he put the plate down on the table The food is ok here but again doesn't do the building justice but acceptable if presented properly. I certainly expect at least a pleasant server and wait staff who know not to put to their thumbs in food while carrying plates . I would have expected to be honest in a beautiful setting a server who can carry a conversation but at very least say thank you when pay the check.

Stayed there for 4 days and it was amazing, The tranquility amid the high-octane buzz of LA was perfect . Great vegetarian options too. Exclusive old Hollywood magicđź‘Ť

So this is an iconic LA gem. Setting is beautiful, and worth a trip for a memorable experience.
That said, service is sorely lacking lately. If you’re coming for a meal or the day, you can’t park on site for some reason anymore (only hotel guests), so you have to drive to a taco stand down the street. The last 2 times I was here service was so inattentive that I literally had to get up and find my server to get the check. Today they ran out of basic supplies like coffee. The list goes in.
I feel a little bit like a Karen with this list of complaints, but if you’re gonna charge the prices they do, the service has got to match. Pick up your game Chateau Marmont! You are better than this.

Terrific food on this night. Attentive service and delightful to sit outside with an interesting crowd as always

There are no superlatives that could suffice to describe the comfort and gorgeousness of this place. The history seeps from the walls. Hollywood at its finest. I can’t even…

Second time I've been and it was a disaster. Went for brunch with some friends, the place was dead at 10:30am, 1 other table had guests. The waiting team was polite as you'd expect but unfortunately the food was unimaginative and very ordinary. The biggest issue was that they were doing building works on the entrance doorway which was very noisy and then we could smell very strong chemicals the whole time we ate. We did complain and they did stop the works but it left a sour taste, quite literally.

Don’t go there for brunch, just don’t. Even though it was a very slow morning with only a few other guests, we have been completely ignored for 25min - despite the reservation. No real apology either. They only offer a few simple basics, no fresh juice…

The staff are as among the kindest and most professional in the entire world. I'm not going to to say BETTER than the Grand Hyatt in Bali or the Hotel de Paris or the Regina in Biarritz or the Hilton in Cambridge or the Copacabana in Rio but when it comes to kindness they are second to none. They deserve to be rewarded for that.

I am leaving 5 stars on behalf of Anna Delvey. She says she already wired you guys the money.

We went for breakfast\brunch. Surprised the food wasn't better, honestly. Prices weren't terrible though.
