Chateau Marmont

I booked this place months in advance for my daughter's birthday and literally days before they sent an email canceling. Something about construction taking too long. Certainly they would have known this long before they canceled. We had non refundable flights. They didn't seem to care. Very disappointing. Poor customer service. Do not recommend.

Ever the bartender was so great, the server Jessie was so polite

Not very friendly unless it is very apparent you are wealthy or famous to some degree. Don't come here to stalk celebrities either, they are people too. Okay food, not worth the price. You are paying for the name and the location.

It was a great experience all around. Wanted to celebrate my boyfriends birthday in LA with a well known place. Food was great and service was great too. We felt like we could relax and not be rushed out, like most resturaunts. Food was reasonably priced and if we lived out there you can be sure we would visit frequently.

I really had fun at this dining establishment, the food is remarkable, and also the bathrooms were not smelly. It was a little cool inside, so that was not the very best. The waiter is excellent too. I will absolutely take into consideration returning once more if I ever land the possibility. Me and also my good friend got the pizza and also we were not dissatisfied. My one pointer is to keep the cold outside. Peace!

The quality of the experience will be remembered long after the price has been forgotten! In any case I wouldn’t really consider it expensive. Wonderful atmosphere in the garden dining area, superb service, no intrusive music, just the buzz of conversation. The dishes we had were perfectly cooked and when that happens there’s no need for fussy presentation. Highly recommended.

In celebration of our friend's Birthday, we decided to kick off the day with a fabulous breakfast at the chateau. While the setting definitely was, the food and the service were lacking. The courtyard was beyond charming and tranquil. Although there were only a few occupied tables and plenty of staff to service everyone, we found ourselves constantly trying to get someone's attention to get a cup of coffee. The food was just average.
I think it's totally worth a try at least once, but don't go there expecting a great experience.

Lovely place and good food

The atmosphere & patio was so serene & private. Even though the Chateau is off of Sunset, once you’re inside the beautiful, historic building, & out on the lush, private patio, you feel as though you are in the middle of a secluded vineyard somewhere. The place is magic. The food is delicious. Highly recommend stopping here on your travels. Fine dining, so dress up & have fun.

Yes it has the old day glamour, but facilities are quite dated. Staff is polite but not warm. Food wise, it's good but doesn't really justify for the price. Also there is curtain to separate the dining area so you won't really see A list celebrities.
