The Modern Tea Room

My absolute favorite place to eat in the AV. Ever since I moved down to the Lancaster area I've been going. I love the staff, they are very kind and helpful. The Modern Tea Room is a unique and relaxing place to eat. It can get pretty busy at times because the food is so delicious and it's the only place to get such an amazing selection of tea.

Nice ambiance and a wonderful menu that has some vegan items. Huge lit of teas that come in small pot with bulk leaves in a strainer built into the pot. Super nice the 3 menu items we got we're great. Tops was the ground tofu with peanut sauce and Bibb lettuce rolls. We both loved them so much. Also spiced edemame pods were perfect. Finishing off was a very here lentil soup. Great neighborhood to walk around too. Great staff were very friendly and helpful.

My daughter asked me to join her for tea at the modern tea house. Was our first visit. We arrived at lunchtime on a busy Friday, no available tables. We were greeted by the owner and given menus, she told us wait would be short, it was. Food was fresh & very flavorful. I had organic peach tea, my daughter had a drink called " eye candy" Sooo good. really great attentive service! worth the wait! definitely recommend. Loved the many vegan options for my daughter! thank you

This place is consistently good. Their wide variety of beverages makes every visit a new experience. This is a place that one can visit multiple times a week without regret. Thank you, everyone at The Modern Tea Room.

I've only been here a handful of times and I can say they never disappoint!! The food is always good and the workers are over the top friendly. The perfect place with good good and company

Wow. I don’t like coffee, I don’t like coconut, but the modern tea room has changed me. The dirty chai, coconut chai, and sugarbaby match all are the best drinks I’ve tasted in the valley. This is the place to be, I will be coming back often!!!

The modern tea room did not disappoint, the food was flavorful , delicious, and completely vegan🔥 . The tea was very tasty as well our new favorite go to . Fish are friends not food 🦈

This is absolutely the best place in the AV!! Gaby and Tristan are such beautiful people who care so much about their customers and employees! Every single one of them treats everyone as family and it shows in their teas and food! This is the best place to get an amazing tea or some wonderful vegan food! You won’t be disappointed here!!

So many options for tea and lunch. The fare on offer is more substantial than people in the US typically imagine when they think of tea time and is always delicious. You can request gluten-free and vegan options. I also love the eclectic collection of cups and pots. Everybody gets their own small personal pot of tea instead of a big pot for the table to share. You can also purchase loose leaf tea from the menu, pots and mugs that match what they use in the shop, and art that's on display. The only thing I wish was better would be the acoustics. It gets very loud and all the sound bounces off of everything. Makes it harder to have a conversation.

Always love eating here. Half their breakfast and lunch menus have delicious vegan dishes. Even if you're vegan or not, try their walnut burritos- amazing!! Their tea menu is quite elaborate and eclectic, yet I tend to lean towards the King of Roses. I tried my friend's peach kombucha and it was also refreshing and tasty. You will not be disappointed with whatever you try!
