Philz Coffee

Very nice coffee shop but the downside is that you that you wat forever for a simple and stuck up employees.,,I guess it much area. Aww

Super friendly service! I was blow away with how kind & helpful the staff were.

I’m not a huge coffee drinker and personally I prefer lattes. So I was surprised to find out they only serve drip coffee. I ordered the Philharmonic. It was wildly flavorful & was a perfect pick-me-up.

The mint green tea truly was amazing. And pour over coffee is seeing it’s day here. The avocado toast was yummy!!

Morning coffee and pastry here at Philz. With a Z. And let me just say, it waz fantaztic. The sugar and spice donut may have been one of the best donuts I’ve ever had. Like a standard sugar donut but with a little extra jazz. So good. Maybe I’ll walk back in and get a second.
The iced coffee I chose was the Tesora. I wanted a standard, black iced coffee. This hit the spot and tasted like it was actually brewed properly. Not garbucks vibes here at all. 100% would frequent this place if I were local.

Trying their toast is a MUST. They’re crunchy and truly tasty (Labnh + Zaatar) (Ricotta + Pistachio + Honey). In addition, The Dancing Water Coffee is delicious as well.

Located in La Jolla Village, this Philz seems popular with the college crowd. The staff are upbeat and knowledgeable. Their famous drinks include the Mint Mojito (non alcoholic) which is a tasty take on the classic cocktail. There are plenty of food options including avocado toast and monkey bread.

Man what cool coffee shop. My wife and I love coffee. We drove up from Texas to California and a friend from work recommended we visit Philz. The coffee was delicious we ordered a New Manhattan and a Greater Alarm. Very smooth and balanced drinks. We actually met some friend who had never been to Philz. It was actually both of our first times. They said they have lived here for a few years and haven’t heard of Philz. They said they would be coming back, after their experience at Philz.

I really like this location. It's really good for studying. It is on the more crowded side, so just be aware.

Was skeptical of this style of ordering at first, but then I tasted the coffee and wow!! I don't think I have ever had coffee this smooth and delicious, and I've had a lot of coffee!
