Philz Coffee

I like the coffee. However, the customer can't add sugar or cream aa they wish, the server does it!. I personally don't like that. I want to put the portions I like. Even though my portions are small. I have a friend who uses a lot of sugar and cream, does he need to ask the server to keep adding!

I LOVE Philz! The coffee is always the perfect temperature and I've never had to get something remade but they always ask you to taste it. The friendly service and quality is always consistent no matter where you go, I always recommend Philz.

Discovered Philz today. Conveniently located just a few yards from Sprinkles cupcakes in La Jolla; in the same strip mall anchored by Whole Foods. Like how they make your cup of coffee as you order it; I could be wrong, and should have asked, but I think they grind the beans for your cup as you place your order. That truly steps up the personalization game; a sticker with your name is ok, but getting the freshest cup of coffee possible far outweighs any sticker any day. Anyways, had the medium roast Silken Splendor with a little bit of cream; loved it, fresh delicious aroma.

The coffee is always good. The staff is always amazing. I love the mint mojito and mocha.

My coffee came with a big mouthful of mystery slime in the bottom of the cup. It was absolutely disgusting, and almost made me throw up. Best case scenario is that it was congealed soy milk, but I still have no idea what it really was.
I emailed the company and never heard back. I know that things happen sometimes, but their decision to complete ignore me has solidified my decision never to visit Philz again.

The variety of coffees looks good, but the coffee was too bitter for my taste and... there is no sugar or cream available, it is up to the barista to serve them! It seems that they want to choose for you the "right" way to have your coffee. There is also a long wait.

Really fantastic coffee experience. You walk up to a pour specialist who is like a scientist of the perfect pour. They design your cup to your liking. The best cup if coffee that I’ve ever had!

Philz is amazing. That's it. Go and don't worry about the line. Your barista will work with you to find your perfect roast and if you feel like something could and sweet the mint mojito iced coffee is positively heavenly.

I love Philz iced mochas! They are my absolute favorite. I live in Seattle so whenever I go to California I have to go to Philz.

It looks nice, fancy drinks but terrible service, especially for someone on their way to work and wants a drink. That's why Starbucks will never die! And believe me I like to try other places but Philz makes something as simple as getting a coffee before work very complicated!!!!
