Classic Philz coffee, very spacious with plenty of seating! The staff works quickly so even if there’s a long line you’ll get your order in a reasonable amount of time. Coffee is great as usual, and also tried the Philz bagel, which was yummy— a tad heavy on the cream cheese but I guess I’d prefer that to there not being enough cream cheese.
Only complaint is that the AC is kind of high, so it gets a little chilly. Noise level is medium-high, so bring headphones if you’re planning on doing work.

If you need a caffeine pick me up you need to come to Philz. Oh my god I’ve been missing out on this coffee shop and I’ve been living in this area for almost 3 years. So goood!!

The coffee was yummy, the ambiance was relaxing. Kinda busy but worth the wait. You order your coffee the exact way you want it and the barista makes it right in front of you!

This place is popping. A non-stop steady stream of humans. There is indoor seating (no outdoor) but super full (at least on a Sunday morning/afternoon). Always a line but moves quick enough. Staff is kind and happy to answer questions. I got iced coffee (Jacob’s Wonderbar). $5 for 16oz iced coffee. Wifi is fast (no password needed).

Home doesn't have a Philz, so when I'm in the area, it's practically a must-go. This location maintains the exquisite quality and taste of the rest of their locations. Always highly recommended for great coffee and eats.

I was super excited to try this place after all the raving reviews from my Cali friends and Instagram pics of the famous pink and Mojito drinks. The La Jolla location is super out of the way and we ended up driving an hour from downtown San Diego but plus point there was no line when we entered although it was packed with people studying. The order process was a bit different then other places and you have to order your drink with the barista first at your station and then walk down to the pay area and then come back and wait for your drink. The order process itself is confusing with their extensive menu board but the baristas were friendly and accommodating. However, with all the roasts and options listed it took me awhile to decide what I wanted to try since some items sounded appetizing like cardamon but others did not like the fruit and smoky flavors. I ended up getting a Rose Coffee iced and my friend got it hot. I personally loved the iced version a lot more and got it with less sweetness and it was still pretty sweet but had a good sweet rose flavor, however I could not taste the coffee at all so might want to add a shot of espresso next time. The hot version was interesting and was more on the coffee side but didn't have as much flavor.
They also have some pastries and breakfast items displayed with no descriptions towards the pay area but the cashier was friendly and told us what was in these items. I tried the butter croissant and my friend got the turkey sausage breakfast sandwich which were both pretty good but be mindful that it does add up and we ended up spending about $20 for coffee and pastries. The vibe of this place is cool but maybe I'm just not ordering the right coffee. I'll have to give it another shot next time I'm in the area to experience actually coffee.
Plenty of parking in the parking lot plaza. On the search for the perfect cup of coffee!

I was apprehensive at first, it was crowded, and they make your coffee custom, and I had no idea what to order, so I got Green Tea with honey and it was the best green tea I've ever had. The coffee is unique, flavorful and delicious. The app is brilliant , order when you pull out of your driveway and pull up approx 9 minutes later and grab it and go. No contact and always greet. Tired of the other chain, I found my coffee shop.

Stopped in for our morning coffee on our vacation. I was very surprised by the set up. It’s a nice coffee shop. The girl taking the orders definitely has the best job there, since everyone else is so busy. I wanted to try something a little different so I got the iced ginger snap. I really liked it! Nice change of pace for me! I didn’t see the avocado toast offered this morning, but that could be my mistake. Nice location, easy to get to.

Great new coffee place that brews to order. It's worth the wait if you're not in a hurry. The tantalizing Turkish was dark and tasty! The toasts are cute and trendy but not worth $5. Sunday morning was very busy.

My favorite coffee place for every weekend. I love getting Tesora, New Manhattan, philharmonic and Silken Splendor.
