Normally the pastries at Peet’s are really good and fresh . Today I got the 3 berry scone and it was really dry and hard to chew on. Looks like it was over baked or maybe stale .
Called the store and they said these scones are like this ( dry and hard)
In my opinion no pastries should be as hard as this where you may break your jaws chewing it ..

This is such a beautiful location. They have many table inside and more outside. The coffee is amazing and always at a high quality as I experienced. I wish I remember the baristas names to thank them one by one. They are expert in making coffee comparing to Starbucks. Don't forget to look for the 🦆 that visits the outside area.. (remember not to feed the wild animals) thanks

Usually I really like this location. But today the staff was rude when I challenged them about allowing dogs in the store ( not working dogs, pets). A customer's dog charged me!
When I challenged the staff person about allowing pet dogs in the store, she would not address my concern. She just told me I was holding up her line. Now I can't even leave the store because the dog who charged me is right outside the door. I guess the staff here is more concerned about dogs than paying customers.
Got it.

Used to be my fav place to hang out and enjoy a coffee and a bite to eat. But lately hard to find a table especially inside. Coffee seems not as fresh and rich as it used to be. Staff friendliness is more spotty. In the past, staff has always been very friendly and helpful. Lately, it seems like some of the staff do not have the time to be ‘nice’. The service can be a bit slow depending on who’s working. The saving grace is a relatively fast WiFi signal.

Great place. They have the regular snacks, the quick bites and my favorite Assam golden tip tea.
The staff are good. It gets crowded quickly in the morning.
They have outdoor seating. You get nice morning sun if you seat outside with your tea and a newspaper.
I believe they have free wifi out there.

Dope location. Amazing staff and amazing store manager. You're in and out fast. They make your drinks exactly how you want them. Everyone looks so happy and moving things along together. Hands down my favorite peets location.

Great staff, lovely environment, perfectly brewed coffee. The only drawback is that it this locations gets really busy because it's the only location in Fremont and there isn't another close coffee shop. You'll also see your local homeless people here as it's close to the park and Bart.

Great coffee. A good place to read and study. And there were *no* elephants trampling customers.
Peet's Coffee roasts its beans less than Starbucks, giving a more mellow flavor, which I prefer. This shop blended espresso made from these beans with almond milk and vanilla syrup to make a great coffee drink. And no elephant trumpeted in my ear, grabbed my coffee with her trunk, or swatted me with her tail.
Their seating area was busy, but a few tables were available to sit at. No elephants kicked any tables or put their full weight on the chairs only rated for human weights.
I will be going back. And I expect Peet's to remain elephant-free.

Coffee made to order to perfection and served with a smile. Baked good pretty much all out of stock and not fresh. Open shop layout but few seats.
