What a great back story they have here. It’s fascinating the kind of work that used to be around this area. Love looking for neat little coffee shops. I wished I had taken a photo of the front doors, there’s just so much character and the faded wooden screens of the olden days. And love the porch too. The customer service was very friendly and big smiles, very genuine

Update - I returned in late June 2022 and remembered to take pictures. The chocolate chip walnut cookie was gigantic and SO good - chewy and crunchy. We also got an egg and veggie sandwich. Both were filling and loaded with fresh ingredients.
Always a pleasant experience here. I got a basic but yummy avocado toast on sourdough and a latte with orange syrup. The latte was so tasty and not overtly sweet. Minus one star because I looked up while in line and saw the ceiling fans 🤢. They're so dusty and gross...I almost lost my appetite, but luckily I didn't and took my food out to eat.

I don't know about the food, but I did enjoy my coffee in this little hidden place. Quite, spacious. Next to the Olive Hyde Art Center.
Great for a coffee break or a chitchat time with friends.

I practically grew up going to mission coffee and they've consistently been my favorite coffee shop. The sandwiches are great, cookies are giant and delicious, and the drinks are amazing no matter what you get. Parking can be a bit iffy, but is always worth it. I'm definitely biased, but this place will always have a special place in my heart.

This place has good old vibe. I loved the interiors of this place. They have couple tables at the front porch and back yard patio sitting too which is quite nice. We ordered cappuccino, and avocado toast. Coffee tasted rich but the foam took over 50% of the actually coffee taste. Way too much foam as we didn’t ask for it. Avocado toast was just cucumber and smashed avocado- nothing extra ordinary unless.

Excellent walnut cookies! Good drinks. Prices for sandwiches are very high; $15 for a small chicken panini is steep. All staff seem VERY unhappy, might be an issue with management. I hope the owners invest a little in improving the lighting. The ambience is severely lacking due to a few old burned out fluorescent track lights being the only artificial light source.
A few small improvements would really brighten up this place. Unsure why staff are morose, management should look into this as it seems systemic. Good place for snacks and drinks but high prices for food. Probably not coming back as there are some truly excellent cafes out there to select from.

The white mocha was really good. The barista was nice and helpful. They happily answered all the questions we had.

I like this location and the ambiance of this coffee shop. The pastries are actually good but the breakfast sandwiches and even the coffees are just ehhh- they can make it tastier or better- taste is pretty bland tbh. The owner can smile more and seems like she’s always pouting when I see her. Although I do see her smile or talk to the ones she knows or related to- she should still do the same to all her customers. We are all her customers at the end of the day.

Nice place to sit, relax and enjoy some breakfast with coffee. Friendly atmos, has its own connection of books and board games if you fancy. Table/chairs and also a deep sofa. It's full of hubbub, not a super quiet place.

Good old town cozy coffee shop vibe. Very nicely tucked slightly away from the road and a warehouse-like place with good seating, coffee and tea served with warmth and a sense of hospitality.
