Welcoming and friendly staff. The food is amazing. We ordered the potato pancake and the chilaquiles. Will definitely be back.

We ordered buratta salad with avocado & toast, french toast, vanilla latte and a drip coffee for a total of $73. I find this quiet expensive and while all ingredient were extremely fresh and tasty I wouldn't go out of my way to go again.

Menu changes frequently which is nice.

Inside is very small and gets loud very fast. That combined with the extremely uncomfortable chairs, it's giving European high school cafeteria vibes.

I might stop by for the delicious coffee to take with me but that's about it.

Divine! If you’re looking for true California cuisine quality and taste look no further. Lovely service and cozy atmosphere. Would highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting Carmel!

Food and drinks were great. Service was friendly but definitely more focused on talking with coworkers.

I highly suggest ordering sourdough bread made from yeast sourced from a local brewery and herbed butter to start your meal. My recommendation is the divine Fogline chicken. Cooked to perfection with crisped seasoned skin and juicy tender white meat, the chicken was accompanied by a delightful potato puree and chanterelle mushrooms for a light yet satisfying meal. I paired it with a glass of the local Corral Sauvignon Blanc, an immanently drinkable white.

Good coffee, cute location; however, I’m rating low due to the experience I had with the staff. I got a coffee to go, even tipped 30% on it; found an empty chair and decided to sit down instead of leaving, there were plenty of tables and chairs around me. However, I was asked to move to a different table twice in a matter of 5 minutes because of my coffee was “to-go” and cheaper than dine in. This coffee cost me $10. I did confront the waiters about this, and they had nothing to say.

Solid brunch spot with a great location in town. Reservation and service was seamless, meal was spot on. The four of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals (chilaquiles, potato pancake, breakfast plate). Espresso drinks were well made.

Three stars because this was some of the best food we had while in Carmel. However, the service was a disaster. We weren’t seated until twenty minutes after our reservation. There is clearly no dedicated front-of-house person, so the line was really long and no one was attending to it. After finally ordering, our food sat ready for five minutes at the counter; we eventually flagged down the waiter in order to get it. It was cold, and would have sat there much longer if we didn’t speak up. Once finished, it took nearly twenty minutes to get a check, all the while there was a long line outside of people who could have come in and taken our table. We were in no rush, but at least two parties could have been in and out in the time that we were there due to the slow service.

Breakfast was amazing, service was friendly and efficient, and the outdoor eating space was nice. We shared the french toast and potato pancake. Both were out-of
-this-world. This is not run-of-the-mill french toast. The cream cheese and apricot is between the slices of toast to make a little sandwich. Such a nice touch. The potato pancake was a nice savory breakfast.

They took the time to change out the propane tank for our heater even though the place was hopping.

A perfect start to a day when we were going on a 4 hour hike.

Incredible food and friendly staff! For breakfast the avocado toast is so delicious! This is my go to restaurant when I’m in Carmel.
