This charming spot in Carmel is a must visit for all foodies! Not only was the food delicious, the dish presentations were extremely thoughtful and beautiful. It’s the little touches and attention to detail that makes Stationæry a truly unique brunch experience. The blueberry pancakes are a must! The staff was great and very friendly. To avoid potentially long wait times, I’d highly recommend reservations!

Best burger, avocado toast, and budino! Make a reservation or be prepared to wait for a seat. Be patient (including with the friendly staff- read some of the negative reviews) as this place is busy and everyone wants a taste! Food is incredible and definitely worth the wait if you’re in Carmel.

We experienced a wonderful brunch on a rainy day in Carmel by the Sea. The food is wonderful and the customer service experience too. I the think they have the best cappuccino in Carmel.

Stationaery was recommended to us the night before by another waiter during dinner.
I must say it didn't disappoint. Our meal was fantastic.

I had the chilaquiles with a Mexican hot chocolate with a bit of spice and my wife had the avocado toast with a side of bacon and a hot coffee latte.

We didn't think we would have to make reservations and had to wait 40 minutes to be seated, worth the wait. Presentation was a 10 and flavor 10.

We came here for brunch and really enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere in their outdoor dining area. It was a bit chilly for us out of towners but thankfully they have patio heaters at most of the tables to keep you warm.

We ordered the avocado toast and the potato pancake. Avocado toast is a simple dish but they seasoned it perfectly and toasted the delicious Ad Astra bread just right so it was firm and warm but not hard to eat. I don't know if it was just mine, or if it doesn't come through in the pictures but I received an incredibly generous portion of avocados on my toast. I've ordered guacamole at a restaurant and not received this much avocados. The layer of avocado was thicker than the bread. There must've been three avocados in there. If they gave me a second slice of bread I could've made two normal avocado toasts. It was bonkers!

The potato pancakes were a real joy to eat. The combination of the potato, egg, trout, mustard, capers and everything else in the dish was so different from your standard breakfast dish, and not a combination I would normally select, but the flavors worked so well at complimenting each other.

If you go, the waiting line is slightly hidden behind the center kiosk, directly behind you if you're facing the entrance. Don't accidentally skip it like we did! (sorry!!!)

Called them ahead of time and told them we would be late because of traffic during the rain and they were so nice and accommodating! Their food was great and the ambiance was fantastic. Perfect choice for brunch on a rainy morning!

Stopped by at the end of the day and the food was just average. The burger was bland and the bun fairly soggy. The avocado toast was also bland with eggs that were overcooked. The side bacon had been preprepped and was flat, oily and folded on itself. The chef needs to have the kitchen care more about quality, freshness and presentation. Really a two star but the staff are super nice and really great at their job.

Yum, absolutely delicious!! Everything tasted and looked great. We got the Bahn Mi and Lobster Roll—fresh, delicious, unique bites. I added caviar to the lobster roll to make it extra decadent, and it became the best lobster roll I’ve ever had!! Thank you, Seth, for the great service and positivity!!

Came here for breakfast this morning. A-okay!
(+) Heated outdoor seating, and indoor seating.
(+) Friendly staff.
(+) Porcini toast - ample porcini, scrambled eggs were well done.
(+) Potato pancakes - a little too much sauce on it, also the middle wasn't as crisp as the outer edges. Also a bit weird that the egg was just soft boiled instead of poached.

Overall, okay - unfortunately we weren't blown away by anything and it was a bit pricey for what you get.

Food was okay, but expensive. Didn't mind waiting, but we were misled twice that our table was ready after making a reservation, and wasted time going back and forth to the restaurant.
