This is a little new gem in Carmel by the sea. It’s hidden and tucked away in one of the alleys. If you are looking for something simple, wholesome with a little bit of California bistro and Italian... you might like this place. The owner is also the chef as well.
Don’t forget to try the coffee here, it reminds me so much of the flavors in Rome.

Some of the best food I've had in a while. Highly recommend the cinnamon roll and the bahn mi.

Service was also great, shout out to Josh who was super friendly and had great recommendations.

I wish I lived closer so I could go more often.

Traveling through when my boyfriend and I came across this hidden gem! Great food for fantastic prices in addition to warm and cozy the outdoor seating (due to COVID).

Started off with the charred Brussell Sprouts with onion, pomegranate seeds, spearmint, and Korean bbq sauce as well a side of bread.

I ordered the Spagetti Amatriciana entree while my boyfriend ordered the Burger.

Had an amazing time with friendly waiters. Will be coming back for brunch!

I left this place feeling hungry and like I got conned. I got the avocado toast which was one thinly sliced bread with well seasoned mashed avocado. For this I paid $18. I understand that Carmel-by-the-Sea is not a cheap place but one has to question these things and draw the line somewhere.

I am so glad we found this place in Carmel. They have amazing almond latte. We got their cast iron pancake — amazing!

Lovely food, and great presentation! This a popular weekend brunch spot so be prepared for a wait (but it’s certainly worth it). The chilaquiles were perfect. The pancakes were thicker and more cake like but a breakfast delicious dessert. They offer various non dairy options for coffees, loved my vanilla late. Also delicious fresh squeezed orange juice.

Amazing service (during Covid) and the food is amazing. Outdoor seating. The chilaquiles is savory with a nice spicy salsa on top. Avocado toast was delicious as well.

Dirty dishes, utensils and cups! Yikes😰They poured my coffee in the the dirty cup with leftovers of matcha on the sides of the cup. Pictures attached!!! Unsanitary place, not safe to eat during coronavirus times especially!!!! The owner was very rude when we showed him the cup he said that Matcha is hard to wash of!!!! Are you kidding me!!! He never apologized, blamed it on us and literally said “F*** out of my restaurant “!!! while I was with my 2 kids!!! Do not recommend even to stop by!!! They do not follow Covid regulations and do not care about their customers!!!

So good we visited two days in a row! Stationæry has real character -- a refreshingly creative menu, warm service, impeccable design touches, and perfect dishes and coffee drinks. We enjoyed the potato pancake, soft scramble, ricotta toast with jam, and asparagus with ham and poached egg over the course of two days. All perfect with beautiful and unexpected flavor combinations. This is a literal hidden gem amongst the seemingly impossible multitude of ambiguously Euro options in town.
